Bro you did a massively impressive work here. You made this gadget look like a toy. Am returning my new mixer console and getting this . Thank you I met your channel.
Have to use this old-school desk for a FOH gig today...couldn't really find a proper video with a decent overview, until I stumbled upon your channel. Very clear video & explanation, thanks Kelvin.
excellent explanation, I have the MG32/14fx, and the question is, how can I make the effects 5 and 6 functions like aux and effects at the same time. Thank you, greetings.
Thanks Mr kelvin..I have two.separate questions. 1. Where do I connect to pick my audio for live streaming. 2. My church has a mini studio (like a place where we control the sound) where do I connect a speaker to monitor the sound Thanks
I'll suggest you check out this video on ‘how to use the different outputs on a mixer’ first. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-stMaNN8uywo.html
"Pretty interesting tut", Bro😊 I wished you had also touched upon the back panel with the various inputs and outputs. But it was an altogether great review altogether

Bro we just bought yamaha mG32/fx, but channel 1-8, when you place a 🎤there, it only comes on one side of the speaker, even though we havent pan it. What could be the problem? From the factory?
I set my channel 1 to my bass guitar and I want to send it to my subwoofer only.. I used the mono fader to send output to the subwoofer but I can’t hear any sound from the sub until I activate the stereo bus control switch on the channel.. Am I supposed to do that even though I am sending out with mono?
Yes, you have to. The Mono output is just a sum of the Stereo Left and Right, and you use the ST switch to send signals to both of them. Consider using the group output for your subwoofers instead. This would enable you to send your bass to the sub and not the top speakers.
Good day sir please I really want to know more about the effect nope when I press down the aux 5 and 6 prefade button after the effects knob my effects seems to stop completely until I release the button. So please why is it so thanks and God bless
The "Effects" 1 and 2 knobs are also used as Aux 5 and 6 sends. When you press the "Aux 5 and 6" button, the knobs become sends for aux 5 and 6, cutting off from the effects unit; hence why the effects seem to stop completely. It has been designed to work like that.
Hello, thanks for this tutorial I have learned a lot but I have a qsn in the case you have a bass guitar and a kick mic how will i route it to the mono channel that goes to the bass amp and not be heard in the house spkrs
Thanks ba I hv a question.... I hv used different mixers B4 buying this for my church ba I can't Solo (I can't pick 1 channel solely to listen to it in the headphone) like other mixers. Whenever I press PFL I still hear other channels even without turning on their PFL. Pls is there a way to do this
PLF works just the way the SOLO button works. For this mixer, all the output buses also have AFL buttons, which send audio to the headphones as well. Check to make sure you have disabled all the AFL and PFL switches before engaging the channel you want to listen to in your headphones. This might be the reason you are hearing other channels from the headphones.
@@KelvinEriaganoma OK. Thanks I took all AFL out and now I can use the PFL as solo. Thank u So i do live streaming ba the sound is not clear and at the same time is not as loud as other live streaming I listen to. I use OBS. Pls I want to know whether using the AUXs as feeds for my live stream is best or I should I need to use a different port for it. 2ndly my subs are not as heavy as I would love to, I make sure my kick and bass guitar don't show peak sign on the mixer pls what do I do to enhance the bass sound in the church. My subs are 2 pairs of 18 inch speaker I'm yet to put them in 1 box for it to be a pair of double bass and OH I use a compressor too. Thank you
This very interesting because my church uses the mg24 and I want to know how you turn up the sound for the group out channels because I use it to connect to a Scarlet 2i2, what is pretty weird is that that main singers voice is great when coming out the speakers but on the audio interface it does not, it sounds as he sing far away, and all group channels are turned on. What would you recommend me to do?
Is there a way you can have the effects go to the headphones so you can monitor. Such as recording live stream with effects so that they don’t sound so dry.
The fader is a sliding control that varies the volume of a signal. The gain on the other hand, is used to match the input signal to the nominal voltage level of the mixing console, thus, ensuring the best signal-to-noise ratio. Check out this video on how to use gain, for more information. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M1yffayggVI.html
First of all, you need to engage the High Pass Filter for all your other microphones (vocals and drums) and probably review your mic placement to limit subwoofer/low-frequency bleeds into them. Also ensure that all the AUX knobs on the kick drum channel are completely turned down, so as to avoid sending the kick drum sound directly to the monitors. I trust you have a better mixing experience.
