TEMPEST is a hand crafted sound pack for the Yamaha MODX and Yamaha Montage synthesizers. This pack contains some very complex and interesting Pads, Drones, Polysynths, FX and Atmospheres.

In this video, I demonstrate just 13 of the 40 Performances, which utilise the included 225Mb of waveforms, a small handful of inbuilt waveforms, and some FM-X layers where they are most appropriate. They are all showcased within 3 Live Sets, and are most suited for ambient, electronic, soundtracks and unusual musical styles. Some of the presets include different 'Scenes' and usage of the 'Assign 1/2' buttons for some further variety.
This sound pack includes 63 custom waveforms plus many multi-samples, and includes 45 seamless looped waveforms and textures for use within the pack or for your own drone/texture style patches.
Although similar in style and complexity to my previous Sound pack “Ghosts”, ”Tempest" covers a slightly broader array of sounds, with many very playable pads, some quite esoteric but usable rhythmic textures and polysynths, all alongside some lovely deep and juicy drones and atmospheres. In essence, I have tried to make these presets and their possibilities far far different from the Yamaha factory presets.
Each preset is colour coded within the 3 Live Sets, to give a rough guide of the type of sound it is originally designed to be.
