The Piano sounds decent though it doesn't seem to have sympathetic resonance samples but with a bit of reverb it sounds okay.

I had a Montage and loaded the Bosendorfer. Sold it and now have a modx. Wonder if I can load the file (which I saved) to my modx.

Sounds great, tell me is playing piano on the 61 keys manageable with the octave up/down button? With that onboard button it means quick octave changing compared to other 61 note keyboards without the octave function. I really want the 61 note modx due to it's compact size, I am considering the 76 note version but it's a bit big for me, I already have an Kawai digital piano anyway, but to be able to play piano well on a 61 note keyboard would be great.

German shepherd Lover Yes, you can use the Ocatave Up/Down very easily for this, in the first sound I play I actually use it in the video

Now my concern is if the Bosendoefer is going to use up my memory space, what is the implication? Would I still have enough memory space to download the MODX 2.0 version? The reason being, I hope to be able to record with the 16 track sequencer and save my files on the MODX. Thanks.

Sample memory is separate from the firmware memory.

Are you using balanced cables. If so raise the decibel level in the audio setting. I put mine to +12. Hope that helps

I think someone said its something to do with the velocity curve in the modx and once you alter that it becomes loud. Because some instruments are quite compared to others.

Why does the Modx6 have such a low output? Even at $1300 it shouldn’t have been built cheap. The MO8 sounds way better than this board and was built better. Feels like I purchased a Psr series. Honestly if you have a MacBook Pro and a keyboard controller just buy Keyscape plugin and there’s all the piano you’ll need. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I wanna yell at Yamaha

You can boost the output by +6 or +12db in the system audio settings

Moses Medina I sent back the first one I purchased and the second one had the same issue. I know Yamaha used cheap parts to make it weigh less but damn ..

Pete K it’s a cool keyboard but I hate they used cheap parts on the modx. Putting a price tag of $1399 and yet it feels like a cheap $100 Yamaha entry level keyboard

flauge1234 again I have the modx8 and my output is Loud ! Everything internal is the same as momtage only the outer shell is different
