Hello, nice video:) I've the same bike with a similar exhaust system, how did you take out the db-killer? And is it possible to put the db killer back in? Thanks a lot for an answer Greetings from Switzerland

I used a stainless steel drill on the rivet on the pipes (the rivet that holds the killer). Then you can take out the killers. With a replacement bolt and nut (and a washer) you can put them back in again. That way you can easily remove them whenever you want to.

It came with the Mivv exhaust set. If it is specifically for a Mivv exhaust, maybe contact them? Or maybe look on eBay?

well made video. do you think the bike would be fine for a 170cm person? how tall are you?

Thanks. I'm 180cm, if you are 170cm you are still able to ride it, but I don't think both feet can touch the ground if you are standing still. That should be no problem, as long as you can lean on one foot at a stop. Try to find one at a dealership to see if it's ok.

Ik wil de mt-03 als eerste motor kopen en ik wil hier dagelijks gebruik van maken. Is de mt-03 een goede keuze?

+Leander van Haaften De Yamaha MT-03 is een leuke startersmotor. Ook voor dagelijks gebruik. Alleen als je van plan bent vaak en lange stukken snelweg te rijden, dan adviseer ik je toch om iets met twee cilinders te kopen. Het is wel mogelijk om 110-120km/u over de snelweg te gaan (harder kan ook, maar minder comfortabel op lange stukken), maar het is zoveel relaxter met een extra cilinder. Doe je veel binnendoor, dan is de MT-03 een hele gave motor om mee te starten. Moet je dagelijks van Amsterdam naar Groningen, dan zou ik dat liever doen op bijv. een MT-07 (om even bij Yamaha te blijven).

Hi bro. I ride cbr 250r I like Mt 03 sound and torque so much , after cbr do it satisfy me. Should I buy it?

It will satisfy you. CBR250R will feel like a moped after you ride the MT-03 660cc. Top speed is not that much faster, but the torque and sound are great!

Is het geluid met DB killer erg luid? Als in word het irritant na een tijdje, en kan ik er langer dan 1 uur mee over de snelweg rijden...

Met de killer in de uitlaten is het gewoon goed te doen. Heb je sowieso wel doppen in? Die zijn wel belangrijk en meer om de wind te dempen dan de uitlaat natuurlijk. Met de killers erin kan je uren rijden zonder problemen. Zonder killers ben je er snel klaar mee, klinkt echt te asociaal hard.

This is just the slip-on part. On 4 stroke bikes that won't do that much regarding increase of power.

I have a MT03 660 myself, But i have a Arrow Exhaust (Removed the Silencer). Was Curious if the Mivv be louder then the Arrow? Been doing some research but just can't seem to find the comparison.

I don't know, maybe other viewers know. I do have a decibel meter today, but I didn't have one when I shot this video... without silencer/dB killer, I think the Mivv is WAY too loud, because I also think of other people in traffic. :)

What tool do you use to remove DB killer

I could break the welding tip with an allen key and just remove the bolt. Then I replaced it with a longer bolt, washer and nut so I could easily remove and place. I did only ride without killer in this video as it sounds WAY too loud for other people and animals. Next to that police will give you a ticket or take your exhaust.

Yeah, that is the best, but SO loud. You will get fined for that over here, not to mention the relationship with all surrounding neighbors will go down the drain. ;) But the sound without killer is the best, no doubt!

NL idd. Nee, het zijn alleen dempers en dan is afstelling *meestal* niet nodig. Bij volledig van voor naar achter over het algemeen wel. Wel heb ik 'm later aangepast met een EJK controller, want ik vind een MT-03 gewoon niet lekker lopen voor een ééncilinder. Ik heb er heel wat gereden, dus ik weet precies hoe het wel kan.

Oke thanks voor je snelle bericht! ik ga zaterdag er 1 ophalen uit 2008. wil gewoon een wat mooier geluid hebben en heb inderdaad ook al gehoord dat ze wat arm liepen. Zo'n EJK module is dat gewoon plug and play? of hoe gaat zoiets

@@SnelleJelle_ Inderdaad een soort van chiptuning. Ik betaalde destijds 350 euro voor het spul en afstellen op de bank. Maar inmiddels rijd ik een Kawa ER6N.

mmm ik vind hem personlijk mooier klinken met de bd killers maar om heel eerlijk te zijn vind ik die mivv GP helemaal niet echt goed klinken (nog altijd beter dan originele uitlaat XD maar als nog)

STGvHaaren1 Tja, geluid op video blijft lastig. Veel verschil zit er niet tussen, behalve dat het wat scherper klinkt. En ze zien er veel beter uit dan het originele ding. Dit zijn goedkope Mivv dempers, ik vond Akrapovic voor 1000 euro voor 2 dempertjes teveel geld. Zonder dB-killer is echt veel te hard, dus ze zitten er lekker in. Scheelt nog eens een dikke prent ook, want hiermee trek je verkeerde aandacht.

+Amersfoort81 DB killer heb ik liever persoonlijk ook erin. Ik had een RVS uitlaat van NCY op m'n agility 50. De uitlaat zelf heeft het begeven, maar zonder DB killer was het geluid echt veels te hard. Dit ook mede door de 90cc cilinderkit die ik erop had gelegd. Geluid is sowieso ietsjes zwaarder hierdoor. Oom agent zal dit doorgaans dus niet merken, want ze zijn gewoon oerdom.

.... Dan praat je over een scooter .. Sterker nog hebben die uberhoud DB killers ? ..... En daar bij oome agent is slimmer dan je denk goos zou maar op passen want voor je het weet heigen ze in je nek. PS nu weer verder over motoren : )
