Good explanation. One step not mentioned that confused me for a bit is how to switch to a different voice or sound before recording a new track. Otherwise each track will use the same instrument sound as the first. You have to switch to the Voice button on the right side of the panel to change the instrument voice, when back to Song when you're ready to record the next track.
@@mycherrymedia very nice video. I was searching for this. you explained very well. i have a question. can we control the volume of the tracks separately. like, I need track 1 to be at lower volume and track 2 to be at higher volume. can we do that??
Thank you so much! 😊Yes,prior to record next track you can adjust everything like volume, pan,fx ,dual voice ,split voice etc. Please subscribe to my channel if not already subscribed.cheers!
@@mycherrymedia thank you so much for very very quick reply. I've been searching for volume control. but I couldn't find it could u pls help?? I need more volume on track 1 and low volumen on track 2. I'm recording multiple tracks into one single song. jus like how u showed in this video. trying to record havana by camilla cabello. pls help to control the volumes of each track separately
Finaly a good tutorial. How do you do a full song ? Should play it for let say 3 min or is there a loop / sequence option ? I have psr 473 but its basicly the same.
7/8 time sig rhythms are probably not available in e463. However you can set up metronome for the same. Please subscribe to my channel if not already subscribed.cheers!
can i while listening to my playback of what i recorded add a track in the middle of my song or near the end? like push pause where i want to enter another sound (track) and then where i pause it click the record button and my track number? or will that completely destroy what was previously recorded ? because sometimes i'm listening to what i recorded and i think oh wait i remember there's a certain instrument sound i forgot to add to that song. So waht i usually do is stop the song so it starts from the beginning then i click the record and then the track i want but then i have to wait till the middle or end of the song so i can fill in the sound that i wanted to add.
hey thanx !the keyboard does not support any sort of editing after recording a track. so you have to take enough care of tempo while recording. please subscribe to my channel if not already subscribed.cheers!
hello sir thank you for this orientation, my problem is when i recorded those different truck i tray to save it in the pendrive but it oes not read correcly what can I do again?
my question is , how can you record the beat only after you've played the keyboard part? because basically your guessing at the beginning when your laying down your piano tracks that the beat you will use only at the end will blend in perfectly wit h what you previously recorded on piano? or will the beat automatically adjust to your previously recorded piano tracks??
Hi, I am a Yamaha PSR 970 user, from Indonesia. Your tutorial helped me a lot. But if you don't mind, I beg your guidance on this one point. What if I want to record voices (multitrack midi) from the keyboard to the DAW for example Cakewalk or Studio One to become multitrack audio files too? I have tried using Cakewalk Sonar and the result is midi data without sound whereas what I expected is audio data. Thanks.
Is there a way wherebi can have all of the 5 recordings on cue? Similar to groove creator where you can remove layers from 1 to 6. If i want to perform live. I would like to record the bass and drums part and i want tonplay guitar for intro and in the chorus play an organ on the keyboard whie ihave 2 layers on loop? If that makes sense
Will the e463 allow looping my own custom recording? I want to make 100% my own groove that loops. Anyone know how to do this with its own built in features?
Hi brother, how about synth sounds in PSR-E463 does it have sounds like 80's?☺️... BTW nice demonstration... I actually did a lot Multitracking in walkband app now I am saving my money to buy PSR-E463
Will this same thing work in yamaha psr I 425?? Beocz it also has the same function...but I m not able to do..my track 1 and 3 are showing data err. What should I do now
Hi! I am trying recording a song (audio wav) from my USB stick to User 3 and the recording takes forever. I started 2 hours ago and it is still recording. Is this normal? I really would appreciate it, if you could help, please! Thanks so very much in advance! By he way, I have the Yamaha PSR e473 model!
@@mycherrymedia ok I sub my friend, I am really thinking of buying this so I can make music. Can you play that music you are making on different chords? How about the part like chorus bridge and outro? Is this keyboard capable of that?
You need to take care while recording, you should play and record each track in a tempo using metronome. Each track will sync to other automatically. Just follow the tempo. Hope it helps. Thanx 😊
Steps to record your performance on USB: 1. Insert your pendrive in the back of your keyboard which is written USB 2. To start recording press 'Audio' longer than the seconds until it comes "Start recording" 3. Record your performance 4. To stop, press "Rec" to stop. Wait till it comes "AUDIO001, 2, etc....... Then your performance recorded in your pendrive
