Yamaha PSR-SX600 Sound Comparison and Demonstration 

Not sure what makes you think that but both items were indeed stereo and factory set. All comparisons we make are as fair as is possible.

@@ansellphillips673 I think S670 was recording from the L+R combo port using a mono cable whereas the SX600 (as far as I can see) is recording by 2 left & right channel out ports.

Yes, I am 100% agree with you, the other demo keyboard has no good stereo sound!

Actually there is much better quality in tones

You can compare it with s770

Can't you hear the super articulation and improved sample quality used in the PSR SX600? It's worlds apart from the PSR S670!

Same thoughts. 700 is almost 50% more than 600 in India. For the tones and prices, will have to go with 600

@@alexwallberg5607 of course, the SX have a wonderful Stereo sound and the other have very good sound but mono. When you play the Instruments one by one this difference is more strong. Greetings;~{}

HI, the products are as they come from the factory with the closest possible sound choices available. Of course when a new better product comes out it has new better sounds, and despite being as fair as is possible to every product, you also have to bear in mind the new products are far better and it is unfair to drop the quality of the new product to try and make it close to the old one when it is in-fact very clearly better.

Yes it will..I added psr S 970 packs in my SX900

S 910 is nothing compared to sx 600 brother

So, how does the SX600 compare to your MODX8 soundwise?

@@followyourpassion8378 Soundwise it lacks a bit, i now have a PSR-SX900, and its the same. Im not saying its bad, it is far from bad, but they are made for different purposes, and the MODX8 sound engines is top of the line. Also it has endless possibilities to morph and make any kind of sound. You can tweek a little bit on the PSR and make the sounds more "filling" if you catch my drift. Atleast the Pianosounds can be a little thin on the PSR before you tweek them.

@@bariako1 thank you very much. So you skipped the SX700 😉 I would have thought, that the SX900 should be (sonically) a match for the MODX. That's really interesting. Would you say, the same goes for Genos vs Montage?

For marketing purposes the s670 was plugged in mono

S670 is placed on top and sx 600 is placed under s670

@@tonystephen6312 U wondered wrong ... Upper ist psr s 670 - lower is SX 600 .... There is not any SX700

psr-sx600 on bottom and s670 on top

The sound is coming from a direct line out to an audio recording device. we are not using the speakers to produce the sound for the video. Hope this helps :D

@@achamilton Thanks for that, my father was buying one and I was keen to know about the onboard speakers. It arrived yesterday and I’m very impressed even with onboard sound! Plenty of volume and quality is good. Cheers

Yamaha spec shows "FSB" keys which is the same as the 700 and 900.
