Make a backup of all your scenes and files. Read the firmware upgrade pdf. I hold no responsibility if you do it wrong
and cause damage to your device.
1: Format the USB from Yamaha QL5
2: Download the QL5_firm404.zip from Yamaha website , extract it.
3: Copy MQLP4_04.PGM , QL-MD103.BIN & Dante FWUpdate_QL5_v38024_sw127.dnt in the root director of the USB .
4: Disconnect all the LAN cables from Dante and other cards & make note of them where exactly they go back.
5: Switch the QL5 off , insert the disk and switch it on , follow the instructions as shown in the video.
6: Once upgraded then connect all the LAN cables back and check the functionality of the desk operation.
7: Put network settings back.
Total upgrade time 16 minutes.
