They just criticized bmw because there is less specs in bmw such as tyres and brakes aling with 20,000 price hike. So excluding tvs 310 bmw 310 is a good bike.

@@binodtharu5899 390 required frequent gear shift while riding under city conditions, whereas R3 don't. Due to high compression ratio it tend to get heat up a lot which again affect reliability and efficiency.

Power delivery means how bike perform throughout the rev range not just at perticular rpm. I'm not saying 390is bad but twin cylinder bikes always have an advantage of being twin cylinder. Single cylinder means compromises are obvious. Either it can be tuned for better low end or top end but not both at same time.

clear example of how much the skills matter! also did anyone notice that in the first race R3's cluster was off? my verdict for R3 would be that the diff of almost 10 bhp and 1 second less on the track isnt worth spending more for. Tvs and Bmw have just Nailed the RR310.

This R3 has ISC (idle Speed Control) error. fault code 19 . Happened with my bike also when mice cut some wires in the throttle system. Or simply the throttle cables aren't properly adjusted to spec.

There was no need to upgrade R15 to it's next version.. Yamaha should have launched R2 with Same R15M BODY with 30 BHP TWIN CYLINDER ENGINE. It's needed

Yamaha already manufacturers R25 for South Asian markets. It's a twin and doesn't make a lot of power. R25 being underpowered was the reason Yamaha came out with R3. Both R25 and R3 share same engine design, only the bore size has been increased. R3 is 42 PS but that's at crank. Wheel horse power of R3 is 34 hp.

I'm 5'11'' weighing 65Kgs, I am looking for a ADV bike just for it's sitting posture as I have a back issue. I need a comfortable suspension which can work on and off road, should have a refined and fuel efficient engine which can cope up with city traffic without frequent gear change and minimal heat. Will be used mostly for city commuting 60-70 km a day. Any Suggestions? I was thinking of RE Scram but I'm worried about it's reliability or V Strom 250. Should I go for it or do you have any other suggestions? BTW lko se main bhi hu.

Single cylinders have more acceleration, on the higher range the multi cylinders can go faster and higher. But a single cylinder 30hp can easily burst accelerate close to a 50hp twin
