Setting off to go to the 2 stroke meet at Rivington and although the LC will start it will not move forward. Oh no disaster!! What is causing the issue and can it be fixed in time?
The cutouts on the plain plates are make each plate out-of-balance, this encourages the plates not to stick to the friction plates, by staggering the cutouts the whole clutch pack remains balanced.
Nice candy blue lc mate👍 see it has a valve motor in it😀 I think if that was me i'd have fitted new clutch plate kit while in there🙄unless it was a newish one anyway. nice bike anyway😎
The first time going out on my lc 16 years ago it died on me and i had to push it up a highway onramp going against traffic,,,,pushed it over a mile called for a ride back home all the time thinking my engine was fried? While waiting for my ride i noticed petcock was in the off position(as it was chugging i flipped the petcock),,,switched it to reserve and it fired right up….lol
