Does the modern suspension front and rear work mounted to the original bendy frame. I got an fzr thou fox eye last of the exups before thunderace came along. Solid handling with the beam frame. I then jump on me Rd 350 lc of 1982 vintage on dual carriageway give her handleful of berries. I can feel the frame bending in straight line as power comes on cos we so use to beam frame bikes now. Me Lc has been tuned with either micron or allspeed pipes. Standard gearing suspension rear shock on hardest setting cant rem now maybe a bit thicker oil in front forks. Just shows how bikes have moved on in 40 years. But one thing i absolutely love it too much chat everywhere i go on it. And the best bit ive got another 350. A pile of bits but all there just waiting fer me to re assemble. Front forks now rebuilt as a start. Enjoy sir. Phil the dood
Back in 1978, I had a girlfriend who worked for Yamaha and she brought a factory tuned up RD350 home one day. Have a go she said. So down the local bypass I went. I'd never ridden a bike that was so on, off. Below 7000 or so it was as dead as they came. Above, wow, just hold on and hope it all turned out alright. The next bike she brought home might have been slightly tame in comparison but was more practical for road use, a Yamaha XJ650.

@@taffy2wheels577 I gather that the details are rather sketchy, what type of part/modification then makes a vehicle not applicable for historic status. I stuck with a standard LC but like these hybrid versions too. I know that just putting the YPVS engine in a 4LO frame would do it just down to the extra increase in power but just changing the forks and wheels for example, I'm not sure??
