Thanks for the video. I have a 2006 rhino 660 and having problems. Was running good, then the other day drove it and parked. Then went to start it and nothing. Turn the key and it does nothing. No crank. No lights. Battery is good. Replaced the starter relay to try to fix. did not help. I can touch the two posts on the relay and it cranks. What can I check? What do I need to replace?
Power to the ignition? Battery terminals tight and not corroded? Bad new starter relay or blown fuse on the relay. Blown fuse in fuse box. Some things to look at.
hi i have a 07 Yamaha rhino 660 and it doesn't have a front diff in it at the moment but it worked fine for a lil while like that but now the diff lock light is on and it doesn't go over 15mph would that be because the diff is out or would there be bigger issues
If the diff is completely out and the servo is no longer there, I'm surprised it ever went over 15. When the servo is unplugged it usually triggers the diff lock light to flash which will put the machine in rev limiting mode. The diff not necessarily but the servo yes could be the issue.
Hey can u show me the wire pin out for the white relay ur miss with I have one that some rigged pretty terribly and the wires pulled out and I can't find a pin out diagram to figure out where they go in the pul to put them back
Good day, I don’t have the machine on hand right now. I ended up selling that one. The best thing to do would be to download the service manual from our website. You will find the wiring diagram in the service manual. It will show you where the wires go.
Got a 660 that was popping starter fuses when through the harness found to wires on the motor that had got hot or rubbed fixed that new ecu new resistor/voltage box. Now no lights come on on dash and no blown fuses still no start.
Hey guys, I have a 2005 Rhino and it keeps tripping the main 30 amp fuse, I can turn the key to the on position, but when I try to start it, it it blows the 30 amp fuse. Lost
Hi I just saw your video, my rhino 4wd is stuck it won't switch from the 4wd to the 2wd and the diff lock is also engaged I checked the servo and it worked but for some reason it won't switch back any ideas what to check?
I have a rhino660 07 i was riding one day stopped for a minute to grab something to eat cut it off can now it want start. Everytime I turn the switch forward i blow the solenoid switch fuse
my diff lock light keeps flashing and it sputters...but only when it in diff lock...any help i'd be thankful,it alos stays in 4x4..i'll just have it in 2wd and when i gas it all the tires spin...do you know why its doing that?
If power is going in the soleniod but not coming out after the ingnition is pressed either the fuse is blown or the solenoid is bad. You can turn the key on and jump the terminals on the solenoid with a screwdriver and it should turnover. This is basically bypassing the solenoid.
Can you or anyone out in rhino land tell me what the 2 blue connectors are in the battery box wiring. Mine are open ended like they plug into something. Are these for signal lights or back up lights? The person before me tied in a power off one of the switches for the reverse bypass switch/relay set up. Is there some kind of cover supposed to be on the connector to prevent corrosion? Thanks for any replies.
Myrono 662004 side-by-side was running and just stopped and we'll not start back I checked it has no spark so I replaced the spark plug and put a new cool on and still not getting any power to the cool what do I need to look for
I have a 45O Rhino , I was riding one day , it died . Now it will turn over but won’t start . I’ve changed the fuses , check the wiring . Any suggestions would be much appreciated .
You need to see if its firing first, pull the spark plug and hold it against the engine and see if it’s firing as you turn it over. If it’s not, you need to know why. Could be a bad plug, could be something with the coil, could be something with a stator. If it is in fact firing, checking your fuel would be next, making sure it’s getting fuel. It needs spark fuel and air and the proper timing to run properly.
Hi Watched your video Keep blowing the starter relay on the ignition side (the area where the fuse blades push into). Have you had this problem happen before. Looking for some sort of short but no luck
For some reason after I installed my new battery I don't have my hid lights, winch line, or mph gauge are no longer working checked all fuses wiring looks fine. I don't undertand what the hell is going on at this point.
