Yamaha Sidewinder Lower Panel Quick Removal - drilling out and replacing all of the rivets that hold the lower panels on and installing threaded inserts to allow the panels to be removed easier for maintenance.
Great video! I’ve got a question for you. I have a 2018 sidewinder and want to examine the drive bearing on the side of the brake. Do I have to remove the entire skid before I can remove the brake calliper? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
If you want to leave skid in and just do bearing inspection you can take all track tension off and push up on drive shaft from tunnel side to help pull the bolts and reinstall, but it’s a little harder to see and get to the back side for the brake bolts.
