Yamaha TDM 850 (3VD). How to replace the cylinder head gasket. First part. 

In this video I show you step by step how to disassemble the cylinder head of my 1994 Yamaha TDM 850 (3VD), to replace the cylinder head gasket, assess the condition of the cylinder head and clean it, to later measure the flatness of the cylinder head, and if necessary, take it to the rectifier. Later we will also make the cylinder head, that is, remove the valves to clean them and grind their seats, as well as replace the valve seals. Next, the condition of the pistons and cylinders and the clearance of the segments must be measured, taking advantage of the fact that we have disassembled the cylinder head, and where appropriate, replace the segments and / or rectify cylinders and change pistons depending on the evaluation results. .
