How to remove rear wheel. Search ebay for a 'belt tension gauge' to buy a cheaper sprung version which will allow you to check the belt tension before and after. Price around 25 quid.

you've swapped from bridgestone'ss SC (rain) to michelin's . which one did you like more? do you think Michelin Power pure SC is a good tyre for Tmax 530? Thank you.
I have the same bike but it's a 2014. I followed your instructions but when I came to the wheel spindle, I could not get it out, the spindle was so stiff. Do you have any suggestions?
@@530tmax I tried wood but the wood split I had to use metal there is a little dent but nowhere near the threads. I managed to remove the spindle. Thank you for your video it was a great help.
Did you really need to mess around with the tension adjuster screws? After pushing out the axle bolt the wheel would move forward anyway, allowing the belt to slip off it.
I think you may be right. As I had a tension tool it didn't matter, but it would be easier for most people if they could leave the tension adjusters unchanged and just withdraw the axle bolt.
@@530tmax Thanks. This helps me as I have an AK550, which has to have the belt tension done very accurately. They use an expensive sonic tool to do it at the factory, and it can be out by as much as 100 ft/lb pressure with just 1/16th of a turn on the screws (so they tell me), so I'd like to leave them alone. Not to mention the belt tracking and wheel alignment is also affected if they don't match either side.
@@quadmeister I figured. I got rid of the bike now anyway. Far too many problems all the time and they got fed up dealing with them under warranty and during lockdown their customer care completely disappeared. The bike isn't fit for purpose. I know someone else who also got rid of it because of the costs of fixing all the time. Great bike if they could loose all the problems. I now have a BMW R1200RT
