Great info! love the way that cruise control didn't pop up in your dictionary :), the amount of throttle percentage on every mode is also surprising. The GT only gives 60% versus the normal 900.😋
Thanks a lot for this . Dealer runs through it on " auto pilot" 😏. Bye that time your like ok I'm bored. Then you try it yourself. Needed this to refresh. Cheers man
I'm surprised that anyone actually run it in B mod and TCS 2. I did the usual required performance upgrades to make it safer to operate, they way it was designed to work. K&N, exhaust (see my video), Ohlins suspension, EBC HH pads and rotors, and most importantly Dynojet PV3 tuner flash. That smoothed out the throttle response among other things. Now I keep it in A mode and TCS 1 at all times. Wheel spin and keeping rear tires on it is my only problem now. LOL
I had issues with the quick shifter Donny, Yamaha had it in, replaced it and the same issue appeared about 9 months later. The bike would randomly cut power for a split second and would sometimes do it 3 to 7 times in quick succession. I started to tire of it and thought it was time to go, I managed to narrow down it was the quick shifter myself by disabling it, you can disable the quick shifter by turning the ignition off, hold the shifter in the full up position, whilst holding it, turn the ignition on and count I think it was 11 seconds then let go of the shift pedal and your quick shifter light should go out. Repeat the same steps to turn it back on. I had no issues at all while it was off for months on end then turned it back on and had the issue reoccur, there was an issue with that generation of quick shifter module but Yamaha have yet to admit that.
@@ShiteLines I sold a 2016 Multistrada 1200S to buy my Tracer and I had the exact same problem with the quick shifter on the Ducati. It was like there was a big miss in the motor and it turned out to be a faulty quick shifter shutting down the engine for a split second. I had heaps of other problems with the Multistrada which is why I sold it but fortunately I have not had a single issue with my Yamaha after owning it for almost 8 months.
