Would love to see a video explaining how to completely remove the carburetor on the TTR 50. I started to remove it then stopped. I need to get that Welch cap out to get to the throttle screw.
Your skin can easily absorb chemicals on it's surface, especially gasoline. If you are going to use gas or other fuels to clean at least wear heavy gloves to protect yourself (or working with any chemical). Other than that this is the best maintenance video there is for this bike!
Hey mate thanks for the video helped me heaps with my service, could you help me with a problem I'm having? I can't get it to idle it just stalls I have to hand the throttle a little for it to keep running, I've adjusted the idle screw and it's all the way in I can't go anymore also adjusted the throttle cable screw near the carb, thanks Sam
Hi Zac, if you loosen the main axle nut you can then adjust the two nuts on either side to either tighten the chain by turning them to the right or loosen it by turning them to the left.
