Its all in the head and carb. A good air filter and exhaust too. Get the head ported real good, better springs, and a good web cam. And if you dont mind race gas go to 12:1 compression. Or put in a 10.5:1 piston.
i give u mad props for this bike i cant even imagine the searching and time you put in to this....to be honest i have a yfz 450 and an 87 warrior with some rebuilt featues and i have to say i thing this thing is actually a cooler looking bike than my yfz..not faster though lol but very nice bike
Did you Spray paint the plastics? Or get them powder coated with the frame? And where did you get the 366 kit? Im rebuilding my warrior and want to make it all black too and get the 366 kit. Thanks
The box is for a warrior 350. They dont make them anymore. yes it uses a 250r filter, the opening is massive but then necks back down to the warrior airbox to carb rubber tube. Very good airflow, but the seat clearance sucked, i have to heat my seat pan up and make it clear for more room and let the box breathe better.
@redneckchannel1 Thanks man, the wall thickness is 1/8" on both the swing arms and a arms. I rode the 87 pretty hard for about 2 months and the swinger and a arms held up just fine.
hey is tha a rappy 350 um air box. does it clear the banshee rear shock and still have seat clearance? is that a K&N 250r filter or something else? good air flow? thanks man really appreciate your response =]
NICE QUAD I HAVE A 1987 YAMAHA WARRIOR 350 CAN U PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW I SHOULD STRIP IT DOWN TO JUST THE FRAME I'VE BEEN WANTING TO PAINT IT BUT I DNT REALLY KNOW HOW TO START STRIPPING IT DOWN
Thanks a bunch man, alot of time, sweat, and blood are in this thing. Its def not the fastest quad, haha, but its fun enough for me and i love the comments i get about it.
I did not know they didn't make extended a arms for the 87. I powdercoated my oems but would like to upgrade someday. Guess I'll have to fab up my own. Do you have any drawings or basic measurements you used to fab up yours?
Do you have any suggestions on chain ratios? I need a new one and I'm not sure of what to get. I ride in the woods only but don't want to take away much speed

Jolly, I have an R6 powered 88' Warrior I built. I may be interested in one of your swingers or just some advice on what I should run. I trail ride my bike so i dont want a really long one +2 but i want a round carrier, because of the extra power I have. Check out my vids to see mine in action. Great build, looks fantastic!
@warriordriver350 No sorry if I confused ya, Im not comfortable making the a arms, There to much liability in doing them... Sorry... But i must say, Full Flight, ASR, and Wicked make some very nice a arms for the warrior and are reasonably price.
I still can make them but lonestar isn't mass producing the carrier that's need for the axle anymore. If you can find the right lone star carrier part #11-221 then I'd be glad to make one. I don't have a website or anything. Just thru messages.
what do you git for your swing arms im giting a 93 warrior thats bone stock other than the pipe but if you will email me a price on the swing arm thanks.
@@917Jolly that is bad ass man! Me and my twin bro are actually setting our garage up to paint his 86 foxbody. I have a 79 pace car. Saw you got a fox sitting over to the side lol. Gotta love em! Same interests. We both got 2001 warriors as well. But yeah if you get back into it def let me know I'd be interested
Awesome sounds good. The one in this video is my 90 notchback. My wife has a 93 gt that I'm repainting for her. I'm planning to paint it this weekend. Once it's back together I'll make some videos of it. It should turn some heads.
@@917Jolly nice man thats awesome the notches are definitely sweet. We had 2 at one point but they weren't in the best of shape. Hard to find good ones over here in upstate NY. The ones we got now are sweet tho. Finally got mine to where I want it, for now lol what color are you going with for her 93? My bro just primed his black and it looks pretty good hes still trying to design what color he wants to go with.
Actually the gt is getting close to completion I'm so stoked about it. The paint job is by far my best ever. The color is called Intense blue. I'll make a video of it once it's fully done. Really all that's left is to put the hood, fenders and front bumper on.
