Bro this is a reality for all brand service centre not only yamaha. As you said you should be specific on which parts you need service. Consumables charges are just waste of money and it is mandatory. It had no bills or parts just mentioned consumables. First free service itself scam. Instead they can get money for what they do service. For my first yamaha scooter service they charged me 750rupees. I thought of learning things my self and do it or get help form local mechanics to avoid paying more 🤑.

May be you didn't know. So here is a lesson for you... You should never stop on a bridge/flyover, unless your vehicle has broken down or accident. If you notice in your own video, you are on the right side of the white line, on the motorable area. So never do this again. Your life and other's life are more important than a video clip.
Sorry for the late reply @@deepak5843. I saw your question on the same day you asked but unable to reply as I was on a long tour. I'm back now so here is the answer. 1) The primary reason is: Vehicles in general cannot be controlled easily while climbing up or down, especially braking, which will not be effective and immediate. This is particularly true for all four wheelers. especially heavy vehicles. So halting on the bridge will create an inconvenience to the passing vehicles as they have to go around you. 2) Almost all bridges are designed and constructed for moving vehicles. Bridges will receive more stress from the load from traffic jam on the bridge than moving traffic. While some bridges are constructed for both moving and parking on the sides. Such bridges are usually found in scenic places or large rivers that gets more visitors. 3) Continuous White Line on the side of a road is the border. Motorable area is the road on the right of that line. You can park, walk, do anything on the left side of that line. So if you notice these Continuous White Lines on a bridge, you mostly will not find much space on the left side of the line to park even a two wheeler. Meaning, the bridge is already not enough and thus have to use all of the bridge space for a free movement of traffic. 4) Bridges are constructed according to the existing or predicted traffic in that particular area. Bridges cost money. For both materials and land. It costs even more money as it gets longer or bigger or wider. Materials might not be an issue but availability of Land is. So cannot make all bridges wide and big. Hope you got what you were looking for.
