Nat, check the valves again after some miles if possible as the drop might be a valve seating issue. You have a problem using electric start from cold....check under the points(apparently on top of the engine)there should be a rubber gasket . Sounding awesome and great work bud. No problems with the electric start mate. I just prefer the kick as it is easier to start. No points on this either! Still a fair amount to go though but mostly cosmetics.
