That bike should make a ton more hp, my stock cylinder 4 mill pump gas banshee makes that much hp, my 4mill stock cylinder on alcohol made 100+hp, that’s a lot of money to spend to not make very much hp when you could have just slapped a cheaper 4mill crank in and have your stock cylinders ported. My buddies 521 on alcohol makes 140-150hp
Correct. My Tony Miller 521 super cub on alky made 149 hp. with out of frame shearers. Their super is misfiring and breaking up. The stock banshee sounded healthy.
Those numbers are way off, we build a lot of 421’s it should be in the 90’s then we play with timing and jetting for a couple of points. If it’s a serval 421 it will be a few points lower than a cub but not that far off I don’t think I would run the lectrons we have the jetting perfect with the pwk’s maybe those pipes aren’t working a 421 with Shearers and 35pwk’s will be in the 90’s for sure.
Really low numbers, my 421 cub made 91/48 as cast on race gas on a hot summer day. My previous build, a 4mm stock cylinder on stock carbs made more power.
Beautiful banshee, absolutely gorgeous,but i was thinking that motor would put down over 90 rwhp.. is it ported/polished? What cylinders? I do think that dyno is strict but my 421 puts down more..
Right. I have a built 94 dark purple 403 4mil etc etc etc etc etc owned it for over 25yrs lots of $$$$ invested trail quad making 63hp dyno and would think this build should be no less then 20 more all day no less . Something can’t be right
