These 250f engines are known for rod bearing failures and this one is just a matter of time as well. You need a drilled oil passage in the lower connecting rod to supply more engine oil to the bearing or it will lock up again. Same issue with the older model yfz450s. The 439cc model would blow the crank bearing. A wr450 crank was 1.6mm longer and had a pre drilled oil passages for the bearing. Turned it into a true 449cc as well and was the bearing "fix" for those bikes.

Don’t beat on bearings with a claw hammer use a block of wood to absorb the direct metal blow to metal on metal a old hockey stick handle works really well for setting and removing bearings also plastic blunt blow hammers work great as well work smart it’s cheaper in the long run

You should watch some Michael sabo videos, his attention to details and following manufacture recommendations is literally on point! Also not being a jerk but change your gloves or why bother with them… lol

I always find it easier to remove the clutch basket and flywheel while the bottom amend is still on the bike and raised up on a stand so I don’t have to be on my knees and everything is stable.

Its running lean. Why the idle is hanging. Also these bikes with accelerator pumps before kicking the bike twist the throttle 3 times then kick it. Good job.

How do you work on concrete like that down on the ground ? You have a workbench in your garage ,buy a used motorcycle lift .you hook an air compressor up to it The air brings it up to about waist high they’re really sweet. You need one because you do a ton of motorcycles work. You get a little older those knees lol.

Imo wiseco is the worst crank and bearing on the market! All the ones I've installed won't hardly pass 30 hours so oem for me but nice job love the videos!

Hey I just rebuilt the entire bottom end in my 2009 yz250f, my crank did the same thing, our bikes literally had the exact same problem.

When installing bearings you shouldn't hit the new bearing directly put your old bearing on top of new bearing and hit it .But best way is to use a press whenever possible. Just my 2cents.
