La tabella dei tempi finali e un insulto al mondo dei due tempi racing ma anche street. Ma e un insulto ancor più grave a un mito made in italy. E non prediamoci in giro la mia cagiva fa 0 100 in 7 secondi e sto ancora in terza. Il 4t alle piccole cilindrate e valido solo per chi inesperto o alle prime armi. oggettivamente moto valida per andare a scuola o piccoli giri domenicali. MA DI CERTO NON RICONOSCIUTA PER GRANDI PRESTAZIONI, CICLISTICA O MOTORE.

Ragazzi fra motociclisti non ci si bisogna arrabbiare, ognuno ha i propri gusti. A me piace la Yamaha R 125, anche perchè io di andare forte in strada o di potenziare un 125 non mi frega assolutamente niente. Mi piace di estetica e sono curioso di vedere come va questo motore 4 tempi. (io sono un patito di 2 tempi). Andiamo in giro tranquilli e salutiamoci come fanno le cilindrate maggiori quando ci si vede ;)

@CyanideWater cagiva owned ducati and also mv agusta, now they are beeing bought byharley. timburini designed the cagiva mito in early `90 s and also the 916 ducati, that s why they look the same, basically the cagiva is the ducati s little brother, same design, same designer, same company. cagiva /ducati is by far the best looking out there, no japonese or other kind of moto will have the beauty of an italian bike.

yamaha have locked the engine on the YZF at 15 bhp..the offical BHP is 27 and aparently acording to my yamaha dealer its either in the exaust system or its the rev limiter. the bike go's at 86 mph so far and to me thats fast for a 4 stroke and thats stock!!!. scorpion pipe will be out shortly according to the dealer and this will progress the restricted BHP. it must be a simple restriction tho since they are only resticted for europe ;)

4 - Strokes aren't cheap shit. It's a fact that 2 - Strokes are cheap engines, they are used in Hedge Trimmers and Lawn Mowers etc. 125cc Motorbikes are meant for learners and fuel economy for around town. If I want power I go for a 600cc Kawasaki or Yamaha. Not an expensive 2 - Stroke 125, which breaks down alot.

the yamaha yzf r 125 can be put up a further 15 bhp with the celox system since its fuel injected, the chip handels the air intake , making the engine think its cold, so it gives the engine more combustion, not sure if this will damage the bike, but when i've installed the system i will add a video.

they are only unrestricted out of europe ..unfortunatly we can not do this because yamaha locked the engine to 15 bhp ...but the dealer told me there will be a way to get it unlocked ( derestricted ) it could be in the pipe but this could mean a whole new exaust system such as the micron at £300.

lol comparing a restricted mito to a yzf125 mitos are the fastest 125 on the street mine leathers every 125 on the road round my way and even keeps up with bigger bikes cagiva have said as well that the sp525 in full power puts out 37bhp and you get nobs saying it only puts this out y av you dynod it no and im not being funny the mito is made by mvaugusta and ducati who make probably the nicest and best bikes in the world and as for reliability try looking after you motors and it want be a issue

Wow ... it's frighten how many people can't read. :O Please take a look at 4:36 ... 11kW/15CV(hp) .. The Yamaha is the best 125ccm motorcycle with 11 kw / 15 hp. :) Even it's 4 stroke. :P 4 Stroke = the future! Yamaha yzf r125 = best motorcycle with 16 years old! (16 years = 125 ccm = 15 hp restriction) With 15 hp the aprilia rs 125 and cagiva mito 125 = laaame ;) i love races against the cagiva mito with my r125, because i always win. :D

lol you have no idea what your on about.. MOT and service garages cant take your bike off you.. when you go for an MOT they dont check your engine, its about safety of the bike.. and its not illegal to ride a de-restricted cagiva mito, unless your using a provisinal license.. therefore its okay for MOT and services when de-restricted.. and MOTS wont even know if its restricted as they test; bearings, tyres, brakes, lights and electrics, sprockets and chains etc... get your facts right

Basically he says that the Cagiva Mito is more "extreme", it has a great engine 2T and a great handling. The R125 has a only 15hp engine (poor) but a great design. In the end he says that the Cagiva Mito is more for guys who also want to try road-racing circuits and like to go fast and the R125 is a bike for every day riding (home to school) and for little trips during week end. Pleate NOTE that the test has been made with Mito 15hp (and so NOT FULL POWER)

+Craig Leech so have you ever ridden a 50cc 4-stroke before the 125? Dude, I had an Orion RX50. Weighs 118kg and i'ts a 4-stroke. It was so lazy that I never how the front wheel up for more than 1 second :D Now that I have a r125 myself, it feels like an R1 after that. It also has a derestricted stock exhaust, so the sound isn't bad either.

correct, 94 is a good model, they are also much more powerful than the newer ones, as it has better cylinders (bigger ports), bigger carbs and better exhaust. the quality is generally better to, I regret buying my 03, should've bought the 94 that I was looking at instead. the 03 is a great bike, it's just that the 94 is even better.

RS 125 is better. For a start its modern. Cagiva have done little to this bike but change the fairing. It needs digi clock, analogues are dated and very few bikes use them today. Being an engineer I cant stand lazy designing. The aprilia has more tech on it and its cheaper. Id be more forgiving, but this bike im sure

especially rs's they are definitely the quickest but they are so badly made now everythings plastic and wires are left exposed every time it rains electrics start going mental. my mate has one that is about 6 months old and already the electrics dont work has to bump start and still cant see his speed or fuel and he has a problem with the 2stroke injector

The mito isn't 15 hp as the yamaha. Its down to 10-11"crank" - "9Rwhp" hp because so it can pass the Co2 and noise test. The 4 stroke pass this much easier ofc because its a 4 stroke, but making the mito up to the same hp 15 "13Rwhp"or unrestricted "26Rwhp" as it's supposed to. It would ofc win.

I fully agree with you...I think for the best performance and reliability is for Aprilia to put in a rotax 200cc or 250cc 2-stroke single into this RS125 chassis... I'm sure the chassis can handle it... true 40hp / 50hp... It'll be brilliant...Aprilia are you reading this?

No wonder...the mito's restricted.. The cagiva mito & aprilia rs125 are lovely bikes, much better in full power form... For other markets the also beautiful looking YZF-R125 should be fitted with a 250cc DOHC single... engine from the WR250? YZF-R250? It'll be awesome !!

dude ... this is with 15 hp (allowed with 16 .. you know the most 125 ccm motorcycle are build for this class of age) And with 15 hp is the yamaha the best one. :) (better then rs 125 better then mito) That the mito wins without 15 hp restrict isn't a wonder .. i mean 34 hp against 15 hp ..

I don't know what are you talkin' about (servise? mot? terms I don't know, sorry) but i can tell you that if leave the original exhaust system, just modded, cops can't say anything. Of course, if you run 100Mph through a country road and cops see you you're quite fucked...(as anybody with any bike)

I think it is clear that the yamaha has faster because akcerelaciu Mito is simple and takes in vyzsich speed and I am going to buy Yamaha YZF r125 because it is a beautiful four-stroke motorcycle is Better in my opinion it is my opinion:)

Yamaha will tend to have better handling, simply because its a better made bike, where as the 2 stroke in the mito will offer more power, because its a 2t, but however less torque, so require constant RPM for best results. Its all personal preference.

You cant say that RS is the best 2-stroke. How is it better than Mito? Cos you have one? IMO Cagiva is the best 125cc streetbike.. I've driven them both quite much :)

what are you on lad yzf only does 85 its 4t it aint got the power ive had both bikes i sold a mito to get a yzf and then got a mito again im not being funny but ive had them both and the yzf felt like a 50

Even if Cagiva is restrained she must be thus lighter and handier indeed one 2t unless driving component than one 4t thus this explains it, and the testers are paid to glorify 4 t, I think that the test and biased

How the hell can u say its better... 2stroke : faster, Major fuel consumption, requieres much more servicing, expensive 4stroke : less powerful, positive for fuel economy, cheaper in maintenance, cheaper overall price

@bosslife92 Bro, de-restricted Yfz-R goes like 135km/h REAL speed and 0-100 is like 13sec. Cagiva goes 170km/h and 0-100 is under 7sec depending on transmissions.. 'Nuff said bro, nuff said.

my R125 has got crash bobbins, everythin else is stock im hitting 78 mph(without going into redline) when the fuck did it only go60??(120kph) new mito is shiz, old one is awesome and goes like stink (Y)

no, buy an evo mito, much better bike than the R125, trust me.. brakes, engine, suspension, frame, basically the whole bike feels better and is a joy to ride, pretty powerful and revving engine..

@Mopiaggio 2 stroke is the best system for 125 ccm bikes... everything over 125 ccm has to be 4 stroke, otherwise the wear is much to high. but you have to know how to ride a 2 stroke bike

A V-twin 72bhp 250cc 2-stroke engine maybe not.... But how about a 40bhp 200cc or 50bhp 250cc 2-stroke single? And Aprilia don't build the fabulous RS250 anymore...

Yamaha is Japanese and Cagiva is Italian. Cagiva used to be/ are owned by ducati/ Own Ducati. Just to clear up for the morons who think Yamaha is italian...HAHA! x

I love 2 strokes i have one myself but it is a fact that they are no where near as reliable as 4-strokes and the noise does get annoying after a while

Yes but when you're 16 you can easily get a 30hp Mito (just cut a little piece of the exhaust system). The yamaha can't go over 15hp

Mate, they are both deristricted, and both around 33 bhp, but the mito wins by miles cause its a 2 stroke, and the yam is a 4

Neanche sse ci avesse messo il 180cc della malossi avrebbe fatto 170!! Certo forse ha allungato al massimo i rapporti... ma ci è arrivata in 1 mese e mezzo a 170, anche se impossibile... il 180cc aumenta la potenza e di poco i giri... se a 10500 sta a 130 di serie diventerà 11000 e farà 140-145!

si ma anche la mito depotenziata è lenta... Quella è proprio così non si può potenziare... ma la yamaha non pensa al ripotenziamento... La moto ha 11kw come legge, e se anche la rs e la mito rispettano questa legge quindi sono depotenziate, la yamaha va di più... guarda la fine del video...

prenditi un YZF-R1 tanto per andare sul sicuro....è ottima come prima moto l'unico fatto è che al 90% ti ritrovi in obitorio, al 9.9% ti ritrovi in ospedale mentre al 0.1% rimani illeso....nel mio caso ha vinto lo 0.1% non so come sia successo ma è così ho un R1 è l'ho avuta come prima moto, non ho mai avuto altre moto a marce nemmeno 50 o 125...senti a me prenditi un R1 è una belva, se "sopravvivi" le altre moto che porterai ti sembreranno delle biciclette..fidati prendi la belva di iwata

Ti avverto che sono un po di parte perchè odio rumore e comportamento dei due tempi e ho una 125 4t... =) La r125 è un'ottima prima moto. Fai un buon rodaggio, trattala bene e saprà farti godere! Certo, non sarà performante quanto una Mito o una RS, ma a caldo fino a 100km/h ha un bel tiro e ai bassi regimi più coppia delle 2T. All'inizio è importante imparare a curvare e piegare BENE: ti basterà. Ti darà soddisfazioni, ma tra due anni sentirai il bisogno di cambiare cilindrata!

hai detto bene in fin dei konti qui cambiano solamente motore marmitta carburatore lavorano i carter mettono filtri a potenza e sbloccano le centraline...ossia nn fanno veramente nnt....inconfronto all'aprilia ke quando esce dalla casa basta un ripotenziamento e anke kol cilindro 125 da na pista a tutti...studia bene prima di parlare oppure fai kome me...crescici in mezzo ai motori

se vuoi rimanere nei parametri della legge la mito nn ti fa piu dei 120 la r 125 fa i 130-135 se pero vuoi ripotenziare la mito bhe ovvio li nn cè piu storia e fara sui 160 -170 a mio parere la r è meglio consuma molto meno e poi costa decisamente meno e ha un rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e poi la mito che fa i 160 a che ti serve in città quando ti fa i 130 la r ne hai da vendere poi basta metterci una centralina malossi che si possono regolare basta girare una vite e vai cm un treno ciao

hanno reso visibilissimi solo i particolari che interessano a loro... intanto il fatto che la mito di quest'anno fa schifo e ovviamente l'r125 è molto bella .. e poi costa poco... invece l'rs che non fanno vedere e invece è bellissima costa tanto è raga.... ma mica lo dicono che l'r125 arriva a 95 e poi si inkioda...prima che arriva a 120 avoooja.... se volete spendere pochissimo per la benza andate con il bus!!! RS RULEZ!!!!

la cagiva mito serve solo per la pista gira bene solo ad alti regimi ai bassi fa schifo la r essendo a ignezione elettronica ai bassi è motlo meglio e si puo usare bene in citta per nn parlare poi dei consumi e poi esteticamente dai la r è molto piu figa anche la nuova derbi cpr 125 passate da me per vederla ciaoo w le 4 tempi

Da uno che le ha provate tutte e due: le prestazioni del motore sono uguali (apparte il fatto che sono motori tirati, basta un calo di presione per prdere anche 10km/h). Le differenze stanno tutte nell'impostazione di guida più agile per l'rs con un impost. compatta. Più stabile e caricata in avanti la mito con semimanubri chiusi (vecchia scuola). Tutte e due ottime palestre.

si è così.. resta a 15 cavalli.. cmq io ho un cagiva raptor 125. Il mio è euro 3 per cui prendere un 4T o un 2T euro 3 è uguale.. è vero che in futuro nuove restrizioni permetteranno di girare solo ai 4T.. ma quando non potrà più girare il mio raptor 2T non potrà neanche la yamaha.. a meno di adattamenti.

comprati tutto tranne la r125 una qualsiasi moto usata è meglio di quella bicicletta.. e le prove che hanno fatto...ma per favore..come fa r125 a stare davanti alla mito... statistiche completamente sballate..

cagiva mito, senza ombra di dubbio, e' sempre un 2 tempi! La yamaha e' solo stucco e pittura fa bella figura e con il motore a 4 tempi non ha margine per il potenziamento potenziamento al massimo si puo tirar fuori ancora 3-4 cv

4°) le freinage , parlons en , c'est le moteur qui freine la yamaha , c'est comme jeter l'ancre d'un bateau , c'est sur ca fait freiner . 5°) meme bridée les perf de la mito sont au dessus de ce qu'ils annoncent , sauf pour la version allemande qui est bridée à moins de 10 cv mais je peux me tromper 6°) la qualité de fabrication des deux n'est pas comparable 7°) c'est sur que en entretient la yam coute moins cher conclusion:tu veux te faire plaisir : une mito , tu veux frimer la meuf une yam

c'est quoi ce comparatif ? bientot le comparatif de la F40 avec la fiat 500 ? la F40 on lui retirera au prealable quelques pistons et bielles et comme ca la fiat 500 fera mieux en perfs que la F40 franchement en plus fait par des italiens c'est la honte à leur pays 1°) la yam est une chiotte de 4 temps et n'ira jamais qu dela de ses 15cv 2°) comparé une mito bridée à 15 cv c'est le coup de la f40 contre la fiat 500 3°) mito plus lourde , normale c'est une moto pas une mobylette

no scusa dicevo se hai 18 anni prendi una moto vera comunque io ho 15 anni l'anno prossimo penso mi prendero la mito quindi.... non sono assolutamente conto le 125 anzi sono le mie preferite..

tante 125 sono moto grandi, parlo delle 2t....i 4t li puoi prendere se superano i 600 cc, prendi la rs 250, una motina piccola eppure con 70 cv....io poi sono sempre per il 2t

alla fine originali senza ripotenziamento vanno quasi uguali quindi meglio la yamaha che consuma anke di meno xrò la cagiva ripotenziata le darà sicuramente fuoco su tutti i fronti

Cagiva Mito is faster, but R125 has more reliable engine and it's sound is way better than Cagiva's.

Ok, ma io abitando in svizzera non posso "sbloccare" la moto molto facilmente... la RS non mi piace molto, troppo commerciale. penso proprio che opterò per la Mito :) grazie.

non per niente, ma in città la miglior cosa è uno scooter :D con la centralina che vorresti fare poi??fà ride i polli xD a sto punto RS rulezz che da depo ce li fà 135 ;)
