This Gaikwad family reminds me of the Thakur(Maithili) family and the other way round. Both fathers have imparted fantastic training of our Shastriya Sangeet to the children, while the moms have played a great supporting role (and kept them away from the bad effects of Bollywood). Hope there are more and more such families taking forward our great tradition of Indian Classical Music 👍🏼🙏
Extremely talented artistes these- both Nandini and Anjali. In fact, this is a new Avatar that we are observing. They have transcended the boundaries and travelled much ahead of Natya Sangeet and Bhav Geet. The future of Classical music is very bright even in this fast paced life. My blessings to both Nandini and Anjali.Please never ever forget your father's contribution in this journey. And never give up your hunger for learning more and more.
I repeat what i have said earlier. Little Anjali sang an impossibly difficult 20 minute Yaman khayal at age 10 which was a rare treat. There is obviously more "thehrav" in the singing of the sisters now. Nandini & Anjali , please hear Kaushiki Chakravarty's interview to 2 Americans who were stunned by her music. Please ask some one to translate that interview for you. She has given precious steps and tips in the journey of a musician. HEAR WHAT SHE SAYS THERE , MANY TIMES. I am proud to hear these two sisters excel in our Hindustani classicals at this early stage. Lata Mangeshkar started her training at a much earlier age, look what she accomplished. These young ladies will accomplish moksha, inshallah, aameen.
I fully agree with you Sir. It's heartening to see that many such young and budding artistes are not just preserving but taking our classical music to newer heights.

When father's take the responsibility of the children this is the result.mejority of the father's are only focused on erning money.and don't bother to shape their future.we can see the good result though the society is westernised, these families are still simple and fallowing our rich culture. Gaikwad ji and Mythili thakurs father are real examples. God bless them for their efforts.

Indian Idol is not everything. Selection is not based on talents. Something else. Therefore it is definitely not a recognised platform or recognition if at all she gets selected. She has already won the hearts of music loving people throughout the world.

Both these sister are way mature than there age when singing. They are the future of Hindustani Classical music. I wonder if they are wasting their time in shows like Indian Idol?
Indian idol is no certification for their talent, but it surely gets them the attention and exposure which would take a lot longer otherwise. In my opinion it is a wise use of media to promote their talent, art as well as Hindustani music. Also, the youth of India would rather look at them as role models than the stupid work liberals flooding today’s media who honestly have no such talent, grace or simplicity.
These two sisters are much above Indian Idol. Indian Idol promotes only the modern songs full of shouting and dancing in a mad manner. They only demotivate such golden classical singers. Judges themselves don't know the classical style if songs. It is a joke that Neha us one of the judges.
