His playing isn't the expected for a concerto, for sure. His guitar style comes from a different context: from the streets, the choro, the local music of southern Brazil and northern Argentina and Uruguay. It's precisely his natural and particular playing that gives fresh air to this piece and mix so well with the orchestra. A great job by Yamandu, Minczuk and the Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de São Paulo.

Dude, everyone reacts to the same Yamandu Costa's compositions: "Samba pro Rapha" and "Sarará". Those are great, for sure, but I appreciate you to give attention to his orchestral works too. Great stuff here. Great reaction!

O mal é pensar que música brasileira é domente samba e mulher pelada. Domos mais de 220 milhões dr brasileiros, cheios de conhecimentos, cultura , capacidades, somente somos podados , por algo que nao convém citar no momento. Mas, o povo brasileiro é cheio de qualidades, carisma , SERIEDADE e amor pelo que é realmente bom.

You definitely needs to react "La Catedral" where he plays with his wife, Elodie! Please do that. She plays like a metronome, and he does what he does best, improvise! Note that they are playing a well know music (for the guitar purists in South America) - she is playing the music itself (in a perfect and almost transcended way) and Yamandu is "just" improvising! check it out and reply back here with your thoughts, please!!

@@RollenGreenRants Check out "Samba pro Rapha", "choro loco", "interpreta ritmo colombiano" and "brejeiro". Almost everyday I find new great songs from him, but these few are probably my favorites
