Yamatai is canonical though. It hasn't really been visited but it's based off of Japan, so it can be infered that this is what it would look like.

I'd love to see Cimmerian. Like the sleeveless mail jack Conan is described wearing in the 'Beyond the Black River' story. Or some of the styles we saw Cimmerian NPCs wearing in Age of Conan.

So far all new armors and weapons are cosmetic skins. ~Neigh

Aside from the bonuses listed, all DLC armors are equivalent in stats to base level 10 armor, exceptional level 10 armor, or Flawless level 10 armor. OR if you have the ability to craft epics, then the equivalents to the standard versions. Essentially, they look pretty, but that is the extent of it.

Give your character white hair. Fits really nicely. In my opinion at least.

Many of the private servers, which many of which are modded, are down or experiencing difficulties because Funcom patches change things, This always requires the mod creators to rework and update their mods. This can be time consuming. Until they are able to do this, many private servers have to either remove mods or stay down for a few days until all the mods they utilize have been updated. Likewise, the new mod autoupdater (which specifically works to download and put required server mods in the correct order for the server) has been causing issues for some individual players, which can in turn cause servers to need to be down temporarily.

Im going to get Atlas I love Ark and its by the same people even though I don't play it anymore been playing Conan again ya early access may have some issues but it saves me 30 bucks later. I enjoyed Ark and conan in early access without many issues

But a lot of Japanese helmets have decorations like that. I would have liked a creasont moon over antlers but it's better than a lobster

Before this, the most recent DLC was Pict, which is very true to original canon Conan Lore. Agree about the pet skins. My favorite was the crocodile!

I'm more upset that the heavy helmet is basic looking and so is the armor set, they shoulda just stolen designs from For Honor xD orochi's high lvl sets look amazing

They could have gone with a more Jomon and Yayoi era type Japanese style, but Japan definitely fits in the Conan world.

Age of Conan had a expac that was in Khitai. Which was a eastern theme expac. It went well in that game. I think it's ok here. it's all cosmetic bullshit anyways.

@@Soulpuppet well the khitai dlc is already in the game, and now another asian style dlc makes no sense to me. But I still love and play the game

@@Schrumbl Totally agree. Yamatai was introduced in 1992 in Marvel's Savage Sword of Conan #194. It is NOT part of the original lore. I expressed that this dlc feels like pandering and an attempt to pull in a different demographic.

Well, Conan universe has many nations from the real life, that lived in the "hyborian era", and, obviously, yamatai (japanese) nation, was always there, the problem with all of this is the fact, that Japan was literally unexplored, unknown to the world until the end of 19 century according to history, the fact, that yamatai stuff could appear in exiled lands, is almost impossible, because exiled lands are damn far from yamatai home, and yamatai weren't travelling much

Conan is a big world with different cultures read the books lol. But its 2018 and thats something poeple dont do

@@Blake-ld7mx it appears, that I've answered the wrong comment, and wrote some weird shit, happens, so, what about the books, as many before mentioned, yamatai culture wasn't mentioned by Howard, that means, that it isn't really a canon (but, yamatai of course could exist, no doubts about it), secondly, well, geographically, Exiled land, which was a thing in Conan lore, was far away from possible location of yamatai home lands, judging by the fact, that many cultures in Conan universe had their analogs from real life, including their way of life, and yamatai's absence in the original Howard books, we can conclude, that even if yamatai existed in this universe, they weren't travelling around the Conan world, to be known, so, it's highly doubtful, that any yamatai could be exiled to the Exiled lands, thirdly, about barbaric way of life, how would you expect exiled from any civilization people would behave? In the lands, where you must kill in order to survive, cannibalize and find a shelter you won't probably have any fancy armor, you would have something more wild looking, something more barbaric, that makes sense. What actually doesn't make any sense is your comment on reading books about this universe, while my topic was completely different, i've also noticed that you were writing this to many people, but it doesn't seems like you can tell something by yourself
