I really hope he keeps training with Piccolo and Gohan. He desperately needs some screentime and a boost. Same with Tien. Dude is an alien hybrid that has trained everyday since DB and is somehow weaker than Krillin who gave up fighting twice.
In all honesty I think all the humans should do what Piccolo did and fully unlock their potential. Sure it won’t give them the same kind of boost Piccolo and Gohan got but it should put them well above where they are now. Heck you could even give them potential unleashed evolved for personalized forms. ( still so cool how that form seems to personalize itself based on its user)

I imagine that one of the coolest ways to give Yamcha a new move that fits back to his routes would be first to Re-introduce the dragon fist technique and Goku uses it. After that Yamcha develops his own version that starts off as a combo and ends it by using his spirit ball and bringing it back to himself as he dashes forward with the spirit ball itself shaping into a Wolf and eventually his Ki erupts into a giant spirit Wolf and punches through the enemy, but instead of making a hole it tears the enemy in half. This would be “Final Wolf Fang”
I feel like they leaned to heavily into him being a gag character, and forgot that while not as strong as Goku or Krillin, he was still around their strength but after the Saiyan saga he’s sadly been relegated to the sidelines like most of the human characters.
I mean, he was always kind of a gag character. He was part of the og squad when DB was an adventure comedy, and he never quite grew out of his comedic beginnings. He gets the occasional serious thing, but that's mostly him getting injured or being in trouble (Tien breaking his leg, him being readd to rush King Piccolo despite low chances of winning, etc.) His only real W was dating Bulma and getting a baseball career. And Bulma left him for his killer, sooo
I mean, thats just not really true. Goku and Krillin surpassed him very very fast in DB. Even before the Saiyan Saga he was fodder to every other main fighter.
This reminds me of the fact that Hercule is also underrated for being a human with no ki control. He literally ripped 3 phone books in half and pulled 3 buses while also punching a hole in one of them
@Suleiman82 it isn't the good old days until he has a sword. The point is not to be effective in battle, the point is to bring back the sword so he can be restored to what he once was, a bandit from the desert.

A movie focused on the human z fighters would be awesome, a mulitverse incursion that forces them to act alone or something. Buff them and give them the character growth and story they deserve
"Yamcha is weak" MY ASS. He's one of the three strongest humans on earth. He has unique moves like: the wolf fang fist, the sokidan, and he can even use the kame ha me ha. He was trained by Roshi, Kami, and king kai. AND, He dated Bulma in her prime! He isn't some alien with plot armor and never ending hair color changing power ups. It's time show the guy some respect! 😎
All Toriyama has to do is let the humans learn the Kaio Ken and master it to the point where it doesn’t destroy their bodies as much. That would be so hype
In the cell saga, it’s shown that all the humans did learn the kaio ken technique. It’s even hinted in a filler episode that Goku taught the technique to Chi Chi.
In the Anime, he's able to briefly survive Vegeta's gravity training. Sure he couldn't train at that level, but given how high the gravity was, he had to move over 20 tons to reach the controls and turn it off. Goku himself capped out at 40 tons after that saga. Raw strength isn't the only measure of power, but being around half base goku at that point is insane. It means Cell saga Yamcha could probably have one manned the Gynu Force.
If you count the non-canon square-off on North Kai's planet during the Namek/Frieza Saga, then yes, he was already strong enough by then to wipe the floor with the Ginyu Force multiple times over. Captain Ginyu would be having a fucking field day choosing a body to steal...
If were counting the Anime Yamcha in the Buu Saga is like massively stronger then Super Perfect Cell Yamcha one shot Olibu who gave Pikkon a good fight and Pikkon one shot SPC
*Also it was his First time in 300× while Goku and Vegeta started at 50× and Struggled, Yamcha was casually standing till 200× he started falling on his knees beyond 200×, if ge trained he could have gotten stronger as Humans have More Potential than Saiyans due to their Emotional Intelligence as proved by Human-Saiyan Hybrids*

Fr, he was always my favorite human, and his mastery of ki leaves alot to be given to him, like he made the ki ball, by himself, arguably the greatest master of ki on par with post yardrat vegeta, goku and piccolo
@@Techmaster7032Official Yamcha should‘ve gotten kaioken, and could realistically probably handle 100x in dbs, maybe more if he trained with it since king Kai’s training. I reckon Yamcha and Tien could probably go up to 500x maybe even 1000x if absolutely dedicated. If the humans then had their potential unlocked by elder Kai and unlock ultimate, they could seriously contend with the gods that are vegeta and goku (not including UI/MUI and UE)
@@gwilkes5325Goku and Vegeta isn't gods, they are just able to use divine energy for brief amount of time. They don't use divine ki in they're base form.
Yamcha is easily my favorite Earthling character, seeing him return in the Moro arc as a fighter and his inclusion in the recent arc in Heroes brought a smile from my face. Those moments is truly a Yamcha renaissance. I was doubly elated when learning that Heroes even gave him a new love interest (Vidro) that likes him for him. If she ever became canon, I would watch the mess out of that mini arc.

Basically all of the Z Fighters could at this point. They faced off against the Androids, and have undoubtedly surpassed that point exponentially by now. Back then, the Androids were still nearly a planetary threat and could decimate cities in hours by themselves, so multiplying the power that faced off with them by a few hundred or even a few dozen times could probably cause a few mass extinctions, if not erase a planet entirely. I mean, Cell could apparently do way more than just Earth, and he’d be pretty easy for the crew at this point.

There is a Yamcha movie called -z wolf a Yamcha story - in 3 parts -part 1 is out on RU-vid . This movie will correct everything about Yamcha and give him the respect he truly deserves something Akira toriyama and his team could not get right till date . Part 1 was awesome -I’d definitely check this out . Also good to see a lot of Yamcha love happening with recent videos on him 😊
I always noticed and appreciate the strength of Yamcha through what ive seen in the show, Yamcha has been seen as weak and easily downplay-able because of what happened in the Saiyan Saga but he’s always had some impressive feats especially considering he’s a human fighting amongst aliens, mutants, androids and whatever other powerful beings, this is why he’s my favorite underrated character
After the buu saga really none of the human character stood a chance against anyone. That’s why the buu saga is my favorite arc since everyone has their moment. Tiens tri beam against cell, krillin’s fight against cell, tien and yamcha backing up goku against the cell juniors and also helping with the kamehameha against cell. They weren’t crazy strong but at least they felt like they were part of the team still.
Keep in mind also. Power levels between 22000 and 50000 thousand are considered elite warriors (due to dodoria and the ginyu force being supposedly feared through out the galaxy.) And it wouldn't be surprised to put (with known knowledge from Gero) that Yamcha was at least in the 20k range due to confusing him for Goku at first and the power situation there.
i just started really getting into Dragon Ball and for some reason i liked Yamcha before i even knew his name, knowing he’s the underdog and how everyone sleeps on him really makes him my favorite cause with all these crazy ass Saiyans and Gods of destruction running around, my boy Yamcha stays keeping up cause he’s simply like that 🤷🏽♂️
@@OatmealTheCrazyyeah and it was paid off twice once with super saiyan 2 which was the narrative end of of that and again with ultimate gohan which was all of his latent potential brought to the surface and they just keep giving him asspulls and retconning everything about him because they dont know how to write gohan without rehashing and reusing literally all of his moments from z

Honestly, I'm glad Yamcha is training with Piccolo and Gohan. He usually trains alone with minimal upgrades but the times he trains with someone (joining Roshi, he passes Krillen)

Yamcha matched Goku when they first men when all Yamcha did was train himself, alone, in a desert. He kept up with Krillin and Tenshinhan despite the fact that Krillin had far more training from Roshi, and had his potential unlocked by Guru. And Tenshinhan was trained from young childhood by The Crane school. The rivals of Roshi's school.
bro had the best character design and he was my favorite character as a kid since the first thing i actually saw about dragon ball was him using wolfs fang and spirit ball and i fell in love it
Chi Chi is more stronger than fans realize. As daughter of the Ox King. Her natural base is beyond conventional humans. She was able to go toe to toe with Goku in one of his last Earth tournaments in Dragon Ball. Plus she most likely received training from him during spars in their relationship. She was capable of withstanding a power kick from a super Saiyan. And she was more in shock that her younger son could make the transformation at a small age than she was physically hurt.
She didnt really go toe to toe with goku on that match goku dodged everything then sent her out of the ring by punching air, she is a talented fighter and probably stronger than hercule
The humans are already beyond ssjblue well atleast for tien reserection f ssjblue goku while roshi actually pushed back a frost whos relative to ssjblue goku and vegeta in the universe 6 vs 7 tournament by the time the TOP came around and krillan beam struggled with a supressed ssjblue goku pre tournament goku than increased his power and krillan was getting overwhelmed as 18 easily kicked gokus ssjblue Kamehameha away an 18 whos relative to 17 17 whos definitely on par or close to ssjblue goku and krillin defeated an aponent 18 almost got knock off bye these z fighter humans are already beyond reserection f ssjblue goku and by the moro ark easily beyond the universe 6vs 7 tournament ssjblue goku
People forget that Yamacha went from radditz tail fodder to easily stronger than radditz level within a year. He was getting King Kai training til the ass end of Namek saga. but by the time he was probably captain ginyu-Frieza level we were already in the Cell saga. multiple SSJ transformation adding multipliers to the saiyan power levels just vastly outpacing everyone else
Love how moro saga gave our original z warriors some screen time. We need more enemy minions for them to deal with while the saiyans and namekian fight the big bosses.
Before the Super Saiyan was introduced, the humans would usually get equal or greater results to Goku... But they only got those special training circumstances AFTER Goku did. Prepping one year for the Saiyan's together, they All got way stronger than Goku training 3 years for Piccolo had. In the right circumstances, and with training partners, the humans can, indeed, be broken as hell.
Plus, there's a huge difference between Yamcha during Raditz, and Yamcha during Nappa and Vegeta. Each of the saibamen were almost Raditz level in power, and with only a year of training, the Z fighters were able to hold several Raditzs back. Yamcha did a good number on 'em, but got unlucky due to plot. Also, no one talks about Yamcha still being in 1 piece after detonation. A saibamen with a power level of 1200 did NOT alt-f4 any of Yamcha's body parts even though it alt-f4'd it's entire body. I'll let that sink in for a while.
This is my favorite what-if series I’ve ever seen it. It’s so much more slow paced and focuses on the characters more than power levels and crazy fights. We’re more than 10 episodes in and just now getting to the second arc. And this is perfectly fine. I don’t care if it takes 100 episodes. As long as you enjoy it and we keep steady quality, I’ll watch every single one. The fast and furious “nothing is stronger than family” theme is phenomenal and I hope this makeshift family only gets bigger and bigger.
considering he's around planet level at full power durning most of z if he really trianed to his fullest he'd still be stronger then most human charcters period

He didn’t train under Piccolo. He’s saying that Gohan and Piccolo have powered up considerably from them training with each other. Yamcha didn’t train with them
ate how he's been trated since the cell arc, by both fans and toriyama he deserves more respect and to get his game back on! more than staying in shape to help with low class threats, he needs to borrow some fighting spirit from Tien and get to the top of his game like he was, so he can deal with mid level threats
