Yan Ni (Chinese: 颜妮; pinyin: Yán Nī; born 2 March 1987) is a Chinese female volleyball player who won the gold medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics. On club level, she plays for Liaoning.

2014 Asian Cup "Best Middle Blocker"
2015 Asian Championship "Best Middle Blockers"
2018 World Championship "Best Middle Blockers"
2019 FIVB World Cup "Best Middle Blockers"
Yan won the gold medal in the 2015 World Cup, 2016 Summer Olympics, and 2019 World Cup with China women's national volleyball team.
Yan was awarded the Best Middle Blocker at 2018 FIVB World Championship and 2019 World Cup. In 2014 AVC cup, Yan won both the MVP and Best Middle Blocker awards.

Usually Chinese volleyball players retire before turning 30. And Pang Ping still needs her at 33. It shows how important she is in the team.

@@roseofborneo7573 After she retires, it will leave a big hole in the middle blocker position. Yuan Xinyue is too slow, and the other bench middle blockers failed to prove that they deserve to be in the first team during the VNL

She's already old when she enter the CH national team. That's why there are a lot of bandages around her body to protect her from injury. She's a beach Volleyball player when Lang Ping discover her. Some Volleyball player who are poor in China tend to go Beach VOLLEYBALL because it's not that much expensive compared to indoor.

@@CHRISMALVIA100592 I gave watched a lot of videos made by them. Chinese players are always (at least 90 percent) not in the top 5 or top 10 they listed. Instead they have some people who no one knows who they are. After so many people complained they just made a short video of Ding Xia. So how come the best setter in world cup 2019 doesn't make to the top 5 in their minds I don't know the reason besides being racist. How she lost against Germany Poland and Korean setter? What a joke it was.

Pienso que los racistas y nacionalistas no quieren hablar abiertamente la capacidad de las jugadoras chinas aunque en fundo la reconoce, pero el hecho es que si desde 2014 hasta ahora, el equipo chino llevó 3 Gold, 1 Silver y 1 Bronze en Compeonato, Copa del Mundo y Olímpica. Eso no se debe sólo a Zhu, ni sólo a Lang ping

Não sei se vocês prestam atenção, mas um time que tem centrais que pontuam no ataque, que a levantadora sabe que se colocar a bola pra ela o ponto vai sair, essa time (seleção) sempre vai está entre as melhores. Brasil no auge de centrais boas levou 2 olimpíadas
