Hey, think outside the box! She's a collector, and she's been alone in her cave for centuries. Introduce her to sci-fi, manga and comic books and you'll have all sorts of stuff to talk about while she adds long boxes and mini busts to her collection.
One of the reasons I love dragon yanderes is because they consider you on par or more valuable than gold, jewelry, etc. Not that "normal" ones don't, but dragons have the riches to accurately compare you to. Thanks for making such a wonderful audio!

It's true! I love how varied all the different species are and how much lore humans have built about them across cultures. Looking at genuine medieval bestiaries is one of my favorite random past times.
Getting captured by a dragon right before my birthday, AWWWSOME! At the beginning of the audio I think it would have been nice to add some coin rattling by the dragon moving towards the listener, like Smaug chasing Bilbo through the piles of dwarven gold.

Okay, so, we're still alive, which is good, we live in a cave now, which is acceptable, and we're a part of a dragon hoard, which is clearly living the dream. I just hope she knows humans don't eat gold... This was such good fun. Your voice was, as always, impeccable. Not only “posh” as you said, but a little Mid-Atlantic-ish, at least to my ears, and a real treat to listen to. (“So cling to me, sweetheart.” was, in my opinion, a particularly swoon-worthy highlight). I really liked the way her rising enthusiasm kind of carried and washed over the listener, but without ever losing that sense of grandeur and hauteur that just screams Dragon to me. A delight, as always. I don't know how you manage to be so original and entertaining every single time, but, you do and for that I am very grateful. Thank you so much for sharing!
Listener: Afraid of you? I've met a clumsy giantess, an Eldritch Alien Goddess from the void, a ghost, serial killer, vampires and both a wolf girl and tricky Raccoon girl. Basically if a girl can't kill and/or kidnap I'm not interested. xD But more seriously another excellent video. The Dragoness's voice managed to be somewhat playful, or at least amused by her human intruder, yet reserved as befitting a millennia old demi-god/ furnace with wings. And beneath all that you still managed to put a little anguish, this human loneliness, driving home how the Dragon's vulnerability without losing the former qualities. The part where she offers the listener some of her treasure was both supremely funny and quite touching. To part with so much of a coin of her treasure, however slightly, shows just how much she cares and loves the Listener. Especially since the Listener was already was willing.
Honestly, to hear about her loneliness would sadden me a bit, simple because I know what she means. I like dragons too and wouldn't mind that she decided to keep me. Having someone to talk to and snuggle up with would be totally worth it. As long as I had a scriptorium, everything I need to write with, and books to copy, I would happily stay. Society disgusts me anyway.

I always wonder why dragons stay in caves and build hoards instead of using their privilege of freedom and ability to fly and enjoy life outside. Not like anyone can stop them
It didn't take a lot for her to fall in love, huh. Guess I'm not gonna complain though cause cuddling is always nice. I don't really know first thing about voice acting or how you do stuff, but imo the fact the tone is pretty much the same across the entire audio kinda undersold the progression of her obsession. The growing fanaticism at the end sounds the exact same as her posh smugness did at the beginning. Maybe if there was a moment of pause where she realises something is starting to change and as she's gawking over time she starts sounding progressively more erratic? But just my idea, I don't know if it would be even possible to achieve.
That's fair. This was recorded at the end of a long recording session when I already had...four? other scripts performed and in the can. It was a long day besides, even before I sat down to perform for a couple hours, so I was very much at the end of my energy reserves. It does show a bit! (The first script I recorded that night was the yandere supervillainess; compare that performance to this one and you can definitely chart the loss of energy!) That said, I think I'm willing to explain it away as "obsessive is a dragon's default setting so there wouldn't be much change." I can imagine her having the same tone whether her visitor was the listener or the mailman with a new piece of mail. 😆
Looking all honesty she’s literally wife material. Literally if I could just convince her to at least allow me to experience the outside world with her or and or show her things that I’m familiar with. Yeah I put a tie put any kind of ring on that
Ooooo, the writer in me wants to continue this into a true mutual love, to the point where we can leave the cave freely, only for us to live our lives together, followed by a truly sad ending where we perish in a blink of her eye, since us humans have far shorter lives, her going around and demanding, begging anyone to help her, willing to part with even all of her hoard, as long as her darling is saved.
So, how is the fluctuation of the value of gold affecting her portfolio? Is she making investments in other precious metals? I've heard palladium is the hip new investment!
