One of my favorite megalithic sites on the planet! Thanks so much for sharing your adventures!!!

Absolutely! This site is incredible and we had it all to ourselves while we were there.

This is fascinating because it has nubs on something that was not moved which makes me think it was part of the cutting process and not the moving process. Maybe they attached some sort of machine to the stone and it carved away and when they removed it that part (the nub) was left. We'll never know it seems

Have you guys been to see any of the stuff in India? The Elora caves and the Kailash Temple are up there on my list of things I want to be able to touch and see with my own eyes. The 3-D imaging of those caves look like they were designed on CAD or something.

I have felt that all the knobs seen on the megalithic structures, are use for lifting the stones and setting into position, or used as hooks that stick out to secure rope/cable for lifting something else. That seems to be the case on this one. The ancient builders seemed to do everything in a functional manner. great vid. your getting the shots no one else gets, which is weird when I watch other vids, they just don't get very much content like this. Great job again. you becoming one of the most important investigators in the world.

Thank you for that! I went to this site it seems so long ago, so glad to have gotten the drone footage!
@tmxband
@tmxband Год назад
Yeah, I have a few problems with the rope/cable idea. they are rarely big enough to use them for ropes. In this case it would make sense because of the size of the knobs, but when you realize that only one of the two huge blocks has those nobs (and the long flat one also has none) the theory collapses again. Just like in any other cases because it's pretty random if you have these nobs or not.
@InFamousProductions
@InFamousProductions Год назад
@@tmxband I should correct my thoughts, what I meant that they aided in the lifting and moving of massive stones. I feel they would help cables/ropes whatever from slipping . to me they are to help keep the entire thing from shifting in it's harness, or what ever it could have been. I just don't see anything being added that didn't have purpose.

I traveled thru China in…2019 I believe. It took almost a year to work thru and edit the content and this video was taken from a larger hour long full China drone video even later and made into this shorter format drone video for those just interested in seeing Yangshan Quarry. Obviously, a lot has changed in the last 3 years so I am unsure currently how travel is being affected specifically coming from the states. You do have to apply for a Visa so I would start there. I went thru the Chinese Embassy in Houston. There are a lot of good travel resources online that can help you keep up with other restrictions. I like to use Sherpa - apply.joinsherpa.com/travel-restrictions?affiliateId=sherpa&language=en-US - try using this site to get you started!

what did they build with all those megaliths that have been mined there?
@customsongmaker
@customsongmaker 2 года назад
Look at the size of the "nubs". These nubs are far larger than the usual ones, but so is the single piece of stone. So if the nubs are always proportional to the size of the stone, that eliminates most proposed theories on the purpose of the nubs. And again this stone was carved from the bedrock, so the nubs have nothing to do with transporting the stone (or pouring it either). There's a theory that the nubs could be fine-tuners, so they could be shaved down slightly to adjust the overall mass, or vibration, or some other property of the stone, but most of those lines of thinking are also probably eliminated by bedrock carving. This stone can't vibrate independently of the bedrock, and a nub wouldn't do much to adjust the mass of the entire planet it's attached to. But I could be wrong; if water flowed through those holes at the bottom, it would certainly cause some measure of vibration and sound. I'm not an expert on what effect the stone nubs would have on that vibration or sound, and I doubt anyone else living is an expert on it either.
@WanderingWolf
@WanderingWolf 2 года назад
Love it….thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. One of the really great mysteries of these ancient sites around the world are these nubs found everywhere. We have to keep asking questions and presenting our theories! I appreciate your support and engagement!
