Excellent video. Fantastic job. I hope to take my family to Yangshuo next year, and as the Chinese say "a picture is worth a thousand words". Thank you.
I visited Yangshuo, and its lovely place. It can be busy during the height of the tourist season but its less chaotic than Guilin. The scenery is beautiful. and it can be hot during the summer season.
It's called the"most beautiful place under the sky", and it's true, I was there on july 2011, I'll NEVER forget it's amazing beauty! Specially, the Yulong River area.

I had a great trip there...and enjoyed every moment. Later we headed to Xian which was also a lifetime experience.
Hi Florenas. I would suggest that you do not stay in Guilin, but travel on to Yangshuo right away. In Yangshuo there are lots of accommodation to choose from so you should find something that fits your budget. We stayed at the Rosewood Inn. Nice, but you can get cheaper for the same standard.
Haha, the littly lady at 06:54!! We talked like half an hour with her, she was so sweet. :-D Last year in May I fell in love with this place and the surrounding area and I didn't want to leave the village I stayed. It's the best place I have been so far and I'll definitely go back for a second, third, fourth, etc. visit. I think China is my big true love. :-) 美丽中国
@asiane Hi, guess you are off to China by now. Easiest way to get to Yangshuo is to fly to Guilin and take a taxi directly there from the airport. Btw if you are staying long in Kunming I would consider going further into Yunnan visiting Dali and Lijiang. Amazing places. To bad I didn't bring my videocamera when I was there. Have fun in China!
Hello! I was just wondering, me and my friend are going to China in a few month, what season did you go in? If it was the summer, did it rain much? Thanks for the great footage!
Hi there! We went in August and had great weather all 4 days we were there. However I followed the weather forecast in the weeks before we went and there was a lot of rain in those weeks. Erik

Hi Luca. Happy that you like the video. You are welcome to use some parts in your short video as long as I am credited and tagged on it. Also as long as you only use it for your web page and your social media. Please note that it is a copyright on the music used when on the raft on the Li river so you have to edit out this music.
