This is the best Chinese historical drama I ever watched. Storyline, chemistry of the leading actors and supporting actors are so good. This show give every emotion and this drama clearly tell us about love. Highly recommended this masterpiece to everyone ❤

This is one my favorite Xianxia. The story and the characters are logic. And what I like the most in this drama is the communication between characters (you don't have to wait forever when there is a misunderstanding, it's almost handled quickly) This drama is a good mix of love, friendship and resilience. Thank you so much for this beautiful edit, it brought me back to the drama again.

Binged this series in 2 days and now I don’t know what to do with my life cause I miss Yanhui and Tianyao so much! 😭😭 I wish they had extended the ending a bit, because the novel's epilogue was *chef's kiss*.

Their love story is so bitter sweet. I love how everything intertwine with each other from beginning to end. I love everyones role... They did so well. The two main and the supporting roles were beautiful. The movie portray how love is so relatable.

I really love their story, it's so uplifting with the humor and rhe cuteness. I like that they actually communicate, except from that one moment with the scale I won't talk about 😑. Almost every episode has humor to lift your spirit, only episodes 31 and 39 and the first half of episode 40 are completely serious and I cried a lot. But I'm so happy that they got a happy ending 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. I agree wih you about this drama giving Xianxia a different perspective and I love it, this drama it's on second place 🥈 in my personal top 5 of Xianxias, Till The End Of the Moon it's the third now 🥉 and Love Between Fairy and Devil is still in the first place 🥇.

This is a pretty good summary of the drama. In the whole first part I was reminded of how much I loved this show in the beginning. With Yanhui being super practical about what she wants from life and Tianyao being a bit bitter but basically a nice guy, I was really digging their romance. I don't know what happened but I got bored in the end. Tianyao did not seem to have any personality anymore except for his love for Yanhui. I guess it got all serious and there was no space for jokes anymore. And for me this drama was all about the humour. Without it I was not enjoying myself that much anymore. But in total it was still a cute story. Don't regrett watching it.

Tbh I wasn't planning to watch this drama but something in me told me to just watch it and that's how I finish it today and honestly I LOVED IT!! Also, great video i loved the song!

I started watching when it first aired and was hooked. Even though I partly rely on the subtitles I really enjoyed their interactions. There were quite a few surprising moments which were very satisfying. I usually get impatient with fantasy dramas but this one has great interactions which are very satisfying to watch. Well Done Youku even if you did make us wait 2 years to see it.

I didn't have time to watch it when it was airing and later completely forgot about it 😅 But the concept of saving one person over the world has definitely got me interested. Never regretted ever since 3. LOVE BETWEEN FAIRY AND DEVIL -the plot, chemistry, graphics, everything worked so well. The story was well woven together, I didn't believe it was so good when I watched it. 4. THE STARRY LOVE -the love story of both sisters made me love it so much. The OST gave me eargasms. Twas worth the watch. 6. ROMANCE OF TIGER AND ROSE -the male lead has the most unique Beauty I have ever seen. He is so charismatic and his chemistry with Zhao Lusi was on 🔥. The stares and the comedy. It was so light hearted and brilliant! So, we're missing a no. 5 here, and that's where BFTB comes in. At first I was curious since TTEOTM made me a Youku fan. Then I was hooked by the trailer, then I stayed because of the main leads. The OPENING song was 💯👌. On par with LBFAD and TTEOTM's opening! I didn't skip the OP everytime I watched an episode. 😍 Oh, Baocheng was adorable too. Best 2nd male lead! He was an effective comic relief at times, and his role as the other guy who loved yanhui tugged at my heart strings since I never saw his love for yanhui coming... it was good though. Tianyao needed to feel threatened a bit the after the heart protection scale incident. He really needed to improve his communication skills. And he did! Good for him! Oh, the plot was no slouch too. It was solid! Like LBFAD, everything was wrapped up and the happy ending of the characters were 😍💕🤭. Overall, it was a worthy watch. Lovely edit made me want to re watch my favorite arcs. Also glad to have seen Zhou Ye after watching her as Gu Xiang in Word of Honor though her ending there broke my heart a lot. I remember reading a Chinese novel that reminds me of this story is this an adaptation of Heart Protection by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang (English translation is available ) I loved that novel a lot didn't know it would made into a C - drama . This was also the drama that pulled me back to watch costume dramas after Love like the galaxy , Love between fairy and devil so yeah its been a long hiatus. I see IQiyi ,Youku and TenCent are set to release many good dramas this year and next year.

This and the longest promise were my favorites of 2023.
