You made some valid points in this rant for sure! Everyone has their own preferences for what they like and NO candle company is perfect. I've felt the pressure of having to buy into the more popular brand on my channel despite feeling like at times they weren't the greatest company and having to shy away from the brands I actually preferred more or wanted to try. I agree, burn & purchase what you truly enjoy regardless of "popularity" and if you don't care for a brand due to packaging or fragrance then simply don't shop from there vs buying it just to say how terrible it is. I appreciated this video & just subscribed to your channel 😊.
I agree with burning what you enjoy. BBW is SO overhyped (IMO) on social because they get a ton of views & subs. Plus, they’re easily accessible & cheap. I watch a lot of creators who have various preferences & it’s all good. I know you love Yankee, others like GC even though they didn’t work out for me. Some channels are almost all about BBW. For my home, all the brands have hits or misses. I think it comes down to the sophistication of the fragrances themselves that determines what I buy. 😊

@katiesjoyfullife I totally agree! Every company has hits & misses and no candle company is perfect. While I do prefer some brands over others, BBW is not the "it" company IMO & I see that in order to grow here on RU-vid you have to do a bunch of huge BBW Hauls or BBW Reviews. It's gotten to the point where if I don't truly enjoy something I'm not buying into the hype of BBW anymore. Kringle has some great scents with complexity, yet they don't get the views on my channel and they are honestly some of the best home fragrance reviews I've done this year! I actually have more Goose Creek and Yankee in my stash than BBW. I ended up slowing down on uploading post burn reviews recently to take time to burn & enjoy other candles I currently have in my stash & boy do I have some great ones 😉.
