Mystic Moon, I'm going to theory craft what you might smell like you bewitching wax muse. For clues I'm going to look at scent notes not from Enchanted Moon, but more so at MidSummer's Night, Dreamy Summer Nights, and Crisp Fall Night. Top Notes I'm going with Herbaceous and Black Peppercorn. Mid: Woody, Pine Floral Sage. Base: Moss, Patchouli, Oak. I might be way off, but this is what makes it fun! I'd rather have a bold scent than something that plays it safe. I enjoyed Haunted Hayride for what it was, but sometimes it smelled very much like wet hay to me, but I found that cool because it's so unique. Can't have a Haunted Hollow every year!

Mystic Moon has a chilly graphic, so I imagine this will have resinous, musk, and birch notes, and maybe cashmere wood to smooth the edges. I think fig would be a stretch but it has an earthiness that plays well with woods.

I think Mystic Moon will have a citrus and dark berries (like a blackberry) notes , with some outdoor smokey notes maybe pine or cedar wood.

I think the word for the carrot bit is vegetal? :) Like a fresh crisp plant scent. I've smelled tomato candles that really smell like if you'd brushed against a vine, and while I don't know if I'd buy one, it's a smell that makes me stop and take another sniff.

Fantastic video Shane, beautifully produced and a visual Halloween feast for the eyes. Thank you for the exciting sneak peak! I am guessing they have taken the new release Mystic Moon in a very conceptual direction, possibly trying to evoke a chilly autumn night with a brisk, fresh air scent. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if they add some gourmand or spicy notes since they have experimented with that in other scents like Moonbeans On Pumpkins. It's sure to be a complex scent no matter what. I do hope they bring back Haunted Hollow. I still have some but I feel bad for others who missed out and wanted to try it. It's a very interesting scent and it grew on me despite my dislike of patchouli.

I remember on a previous Social Media post we were all suggesting Halloween scents, and I proposed Blue Moon Rising, because there will be a full blue moon on Halloween this year. I wasn't too far off! Psyched about this new scent, fingers crossed it is more woodsy and less cologne.

I’ve been searching high and low for a pumpkin 🎃 guts scent! I’ve looked in vendor wax because that’s what I love! Candles are my second love. I would love a mixture of crisp air and pumpkin guts! Maybe with a hint of bonfire 🔥 just a hint! Or hay! I would be so happy!!

Yay Shane! So happy you were finally able to find the Halloween candle! I'm guessing Mystic Moon will have a hint of patchouli...For some reason, my antique ouija board (1917) comes to mind. The vintage wooden board has an old haunted attic smell. Anyways, a fun and awesome video as always! 😊

Just got my pumpkin patch candle early here in the uk and it smells quite nice. It reminds me a little bit of trick or treat without the punchy ginger and caramel. It's a little bit sweeter and creamier.

I would love to smell the carrot mixed with pumpkin. Last time I made mashed sweet potatoes I mashed in a few leftover organic carrots I had and the scents and flavors were so harmonious, yet distinct. If the candle marries these well it will be fantastic. I wish they would release witches brew in the clam shell melts they sell at Walmart. That would be amazing. I never got to try haunted hollow so I would love it to come back. I wish Yankee would bring back BEWARE but I don’t know how that compares to happy Halloween. I don’t think it’s the same as witches brew bec it does have a licorice type scent and when I have them side by side they aren’t the same. Oohh I hope Mystic Moon is good I hope it doesn’t have a cologne scent. Look forward to the next video 🎃🖤

If you really knew how much effort Shane puts into his videos you would at least appreciate the production value. Having said that ( sorry you guys I get very defensive over this channel ) how exciting was this news !! I have high hopes for Mystic Moon ! I think it will be complex and dark. It's going to be a great Yankee Halloween Season and I hope we have a preview party this year, I'll be there .

shane! you should treat yourself to a few luxury/niche brand candles (Le Labo, diptyque, DS&Durga, Boy Smells, Byredo, etc.) and review them 💙

fleur du mal Oh I do, just seldom on camera. Luxury candles are always a terrific amount of fun, but my evaluation skills usually suits scents with themes, stories, concepts, etc. Home fragrance is a tough one to communicate unless folks like listening to perfumer terminology. Votivo is usually my go-to “champagne” company. I’ve been a long time burner. Thanks so much for the comment, and for watching! I’ll try to sneak in some luxury brands for this holiday season 👍

You know what annoys me is that the UK didn't get witches brew last year either it's a total joke honestly it's my fav scent I burn it year round! I've lost my love for any scented candles now because I can't burn my favourite scent. Heartbreaking

2015/2016 had the Best items ... witches hand candle holder, bigger more statement pieces and didn’t focus so much on the Boney Bunch - I feel now YC, has hijacked all of their Halloween with Boney Bunch. I say bring back those big statement Halloween pieces!
