Thank you for being the only show to talk about baseball. NY finally has a team in a championship series and the other shows are talking about football when both teams are cooked before Halloween
Which I don’t get NYC is baseball and basketball first more than anything else barely see anyone talking about the NFL anything for that gambling ass fanbase I guess
Evan got it right. Im the slightly gravely-voiced o'l Yankee fan who came up during the Guidry/Jackson/Nettles years and witnessed 2 historic championship runs('77-'78, '96-2000). (also the losses in '76, '81, '03). I really like Judge, but I have yet to see his eye of the tiger on the big stage. What I'm looking for in the eyes of Judge is what I see in Soto. Oh what a coincidence, hes already proven his championship metal. Hope this comment ages well. YANKS IN 7!!
By the way Tiki you are the man!! I was at the game back in 2005 vs the Chiefs and Tiki rushed for like 284 yards!! What a game and what an awesome experience
Don Mattingly is loved because he was the best player on bad teams. He only made the playoffs the last year of his career. Judge has been on teams that make the playoffs damn near every year. That makes a HUGE difference
Mattingly, Winfield and Henderson were my favorite players from those 80's teams. They all had a gamer's mentality that made you believe they were focused on the task of getting it done, even when they fell short.
I am a Red Sox fan. I always thought Alex knew what they were doing so whenever the Astros played the Red Sox with Cora as coach, they could not cheat against the Red Sox I think that helped us in 2018.
As a Yankee fan, I really dont know what you're talking about since I never watched a single game during any of the Red Sox's championship runs. But as a NY Jets fan, I know the pain of being a fan of a team that I've never seen win in my lifetime. The "1918" chant at the Yankee Stadium was good while it lasted but I don't really mind that its over. I would have rooted for the Guardians if they weren't going up against my Yanks. YANKEES IN 7!!
The Over/Under on Aaron Judge Strikeouts During This World Series is "20"....Over/Under on Number of Runners Judge Leaves in Scoring Position in This World Series is "25"....Those are Low Numbers...Going With OVER on Both
If Gerrit Cole pitches well and gives innings, it will protect Yankees bullpen, while LA's pen will become further exposed longer series goes. like Cleveland. Cole, like Jack Morris is a borderline HOF. A few HOF years, but mostly he's in the hall of very good. This series may determine if he is in HOF, and because his performance effects yankees bullpen, he's the most important factor in the series.
Hes a great generational player. Unfortunately he plays in the House of Jeter, Mariano, Ruth, Mantle, Gehrig and Jackson. Regardless of if they win he, at the very least, better show out like Soto and Stanton.
Judge has to show up and produce (like he does in the regular season EVERY year) and if he does, which Im confident he will, it's Yankees in 5 or 6. If he's a no show? Yanks have no chance
I like dude but, he better start showing some fire in his eyes during this Series. At times , I feel like I'm seeing too much "Mr. Nice Guy" at the plate.
He wasn't terrible. He just hasn't had a postseason that complements his MVP season. Expectations are high. If he were any other player, his performance would be acceptable.
Yanks are the only NY team worth talking about right now. There is only so much to say until the WS gets started up. This is a loooong week for the talking heads.
