As a Yankees fan, this game is incredibly encouraging for this season. Not just because they beat a legit World Series contender, but because everything that could’ve gone wrong for the first half of the game did. But the Yankees played hard, fought back, and took back the lead even after a fairly significant early deficit. Last year’s team would’ve folded. I’m so excited for what this season holds.

As an Astros fan, even though we lost this shows improvement on some players and others who need more improvement. Jake Myers seems he will have a breakout season, Hader already looks great, and Pena looks like he will have a better season.

This stings. Not just because it was opening day, and it always feels good to win opening day, but the fact it was against the Yankees makes it even worse. But, I think the people saying stuff like “the season is over” and “time to rebuild” are just stupid. It’s only opening day. Still 161 games left to go. Let go Yankees an amazing comeback win start the season they take the first game in this four game series against Houston and a really good game we started off really slow. It was 4-0 after two hitting and I was getting worried, but then we stormed all the way back, and we actually eventually tied it and then took a lead and that was sweaty a game glitching tagging the end and yes he clearly tagged but still though great way to start the season and I’m hoping we can take it 2-0 series lead in the next game tomorrow
