I'll be visiting my Grandpa in the cemetery this week and telling him the Yankees are going back to the World Series. He passed in 2012, this is the first pennant since we lost him. #LetsGoYankees
God, Giancarlo, Gleyber, Soto and plenty of the bullpen all deserve the praise for this series. Honorable mentions to Volpe, Rizzo, and the keep it close starters.
To think we totally wrote him off by the end of last season. He's been bullying hitters lately - front-end stuff and performance lately. And the adjustment to take Cole's lead and keep his emotions in check. Amazing.
I went through insane lengths to stream this game from a boat 30 miles off the coast of france. Watched every single pitch, every single minute. No phone no distractions. One of the best baseball games ive ever watched period
I waited 15 years when they played in the World Series in 1996. I can’t believe it took another 15 years. For all those who never seen a Yankees World Series or have been waiting since 2009, enjoy this moment. 4 more wins. LFG!!!!!!
15 longggg hard years of being looked upon as the laughing stock team who lived in the past . I was 12 when we won in '09 I’ll be 27 next week it’s time we FINALLY get #28 LETS GO YANKEESSS 💙💙💙🏆🏆🏆
I am happy, there are no words that describe the immense joy of seeing my Yankees back in the World Series, 41 pennants, we have to go for four more, GO YANKEES!!! 😍😍😍❤❤❤🦾🦾🦾🗽🗽🗽⚾⚾⚾🏆🏆🏆
❤❤❤❤ glad we are into the World Series! I still remember the talk was all about Gleyber’s potential, but he truly delivered this series! ***Side note, Gleyber is truly getting old. He used to have some serious wheels a few years ago. Better arriving late than never when it comes to hitting. Hope he stays at this level of consistency!***
I’m was kinda hoping that The New York Yankees would lose this game, maybe they’ll lose the next one. You’ll never know who’s going to win until after the game, this is 100% true saying. It’s not a lie.
Congrats to the mvp Stanton without your home run to tie the game the yanks would’ve lost 2-0 and Juan Soto wouldn’t have had the opportunity to hit in the 10th inning like he did and the guardian’s would’ve won and had the momentum going into the next game and our yanks probably would’ve lost like they’ve been doing the last few times in the ALCS after being up 3-1 to the Astros
GianCarlos not smiling when hes looking at his teamates after he hits a homerun. Hes looking with grit and ulimatum. Hes saying dont complain dont play. This is what we have to do.
Feel kinda bad for Rocchio. As soon as he dropped that ball I knew Cleveland's season was over. Yankees are too good a team to give them extra outs. Adding Soto was the missing piece. Makes that lineup so much better. Nice to have the evil empire back. Hating the Yankees was getting kinda lame there for a sec.
I personally would have challenged the call at 6:52 I slowed my playback speed to .25 and he was safe ( due to the fact that they said the ball MUST BE SECURED in the glove and if you slow it down you will see that the ball was not fully secure in the glove of the first base man until after Austin wells (#28) already had his foot on the bag.......
@@willywonka4690 Normally I would agree, but each of Rocchio's errors actually cost runs. For example today, if he gets the out (instead of dropping it) Soto doesn't get to bat in that innings. Plus if your theory is right, all losses would be blamed on pitchers and having people in the field would not be required.
