The Orioles are now responsible for 2 of Cole’s 3 pitching losses this season. It’s crazy how much they have him improved with very little money spent on their roster
Rebuilding teams are not supposed to be spending money. That’s a good reason why the Orioles haven’t been spending. Now for Gerrit Cole’s losses, the Orioles have won 3 games against Cole, first in 2020. Two wins against Cole in one season is incredible for a rebuilding team.
@@NateClay bruh we literally just went on a 10 game win streak and are in the wild card race. And we're 5 games away from last year's win total 2 games after the all star break. Respectfully I'd call that doing very well for a rebuilding team
@@NateClay - dude, “any improvement”? They are miles better than anyone expected. Not just an improvement…but a huge improvement and a contender for the wild card playoffs.
The highlights are 9 minutes long, and not until the 6 minute 30 second were there any O’s highlights. But we got to see Matt Carpenter walk on grass and Gerrit Cole eat a banana.
The highlights are 9 minutes long, and not until the 6 minute 45 second mark were there any real O’s highlights. But we got to see Matt Carpenter walk on grass and Gerrit Cole eat a banana.
BAL with a comeback win over the Bronx Bombers. Like I've been saying for much of the season BAL has improved and this division is not for the weak. NYY try to take the series tomorrow. Congrats on the win BAL 👍.
Yankee fan here, and you guys are more exciting to watch than those choke artist bums from the Bronx. I knew you were going to comeback and win. Congratulations.
@Chad Abercrombie the fact this team and the 98 team were mentioned in the same sentence is an insult. This team is a bunch of soft, undisciplined phonies.
Quit hating. What are you celebrating? The O's are still in last place. Where is the smoke when you win ONE game against the rest of the AL? This is the largest crowd you will have for the rest of the year. Most of the time Camden Yards is a ghost town. Yankees can't hear the Orioles from 17 games behind. If I was an O's fan, I would start putting on my Ravens jersey.
I am so proud of this Orioles team. We play hard for 9 innings and are no longer a laughing stock in the MLB. Mich respect to Mike Elias and Brandon Hyde for putting this team together.
MLB is so pathetic sometimes. Hey guys, the Yankees lost. In a game in which the Orioles won 6-3, the still have to give the first 7 of 9 minutes all to them. Carpenter’s “Grounding,” eating the banana, all that stuff. Then the orioles comeback is sharply edited and rushed. MLB just has to make it about the Yankees all the time, even when they don’t do well. Come on man.
@@SexAndCandyHair92 Noticed the video came out at 2 am?... Two west coast games were finished 1 AM EST and had highlights by 130 AM That's enough evidence
@@Adam-dy5cn no you dont its elite but not the best. padres dodgers rays and mariners all gave better farm systems than you guys and the yankees isnt much worse
Pathetic. To denounce Yankees fans just supporting their team. The Birds of Earl Weaver, Brooks Robinson, Boog Powell, Cal Ripken jr etal. would never have accepted such behaviour. Just unworthy of the classy Orioles tradition. Please think about it...
You do not have to be a power team to win. Good pitching, clutch hitting( make good contact and good solid defense. Also want to hear more O ‘s fans louder cheer than Yankees
@@tristenrodrigue1814 problem with this strategy tho .. is when you Inevitably get in cold hitting stretches not having any power on your team can’t bail you out when you need it the most in crucial games .. Mets are prime example of this rn

@@danielbuchanan6499 One thing's for certain, two thing's for sure. The Wanks and Red Sox will always get most favored status on a lot of newscasts and highlights. That's why it was oh, so special to see 28 precious runs scored on Boston the other day. Say it with me people! Twenty....eight...Blue Jay runs. Ahhhhh...So....tasty!
Pathetic to cheer when the Yankees or any team loses. What a cheap and moronic outlook on the world... so negative. Maybe you learn to cheer on a team you like. That'd be a positive view on life...
I'm a Yankee fan for life. But good for Baltimore. I used to go to YS as a school boy and sit in the lower RF stands when Frank Robby came to town. I even had a little league FRobby bat. Signature model!
If the Nationals didn't have a team the O's wouldn't be in the situation they are. The two teams are less than hour apart and can't support two teams. Washington never should have been awarded a team.
@@chriscollins611 Yankees were pitched a no hitter against the Astros. They have been beat out of the playoffs 3 out of 5 years by the Astros. They just got beat both games in the double header. And in the last 5 years Astros have gone farther... The Yankees in the last 10 years have spent over 1 billion dollars. The Astros haven't spent a quarter of that.... No comparison bud.
@@chriscollins611 Astros are 2 games behind the Yankees. And just beat the 14 game winning streak mariners. Twice in a row while the Yankeess loose to the last place in the game reds. And now the Baltimore Orioles
As a Yankees diehard since 1987 I can assure you...every streak is bound to end sometimes. Please keep on winning those measly regular-season games. The Yankees hopefully will take homefield thru-out the postseason and beat you Astros in Games 6 or 7 in the Bronx...Altuve or not...
2:22 - 2:38 - Normally I hate Yankees announcers with a passion, but I really appreciate that little monologue there. He could've easily been lazy like every other announcer and done the whole, "Oh terrible decision by Mullins, what is he thinking blah blah blah" but he didn't. The respect is real there and I appreciate it. 👍
This game just went to disaster for the Yankees. This is one of the many really bad games I've seen them have when it comes to struggling with RISP. I know Yankees want to start saving their bullpen now with King out but bringing Cole back in was a bad idea
Yankees going to have to win outside the division to hold the 1st AL spot for the rest of the year. If the Astros pass us we’ll probably lose only having one road win vs them in the last postseason matchups
Astros 1.5 games back now of the so called “best team on the planet”.😁 Where are the Yankees fans tonight? Nowhere to be found in the comments section. Buncha Meatheads.
You're just proving that you've got no respect for the game. Even if you defeat an opponent, one always shows respect to the defeated but worthy enemy. Even you as an Astros Fan should realize, that every streak will come to an end. Please be assured that these Yankees will be giving everything to reach homefield-advantage for the postseason. In live one always sees twice...
Somebody other than Judge has to consistently provide some runs for the Yanks. With that being said if they don't pay him max or resign him they're absolutely stupid. He's the only reason they've won alot of games this year and he's been the only one provide basically in alot of losses.
My first Yankees game was an incredible experience to be at shoutout to the orioles for a good deserved win but I loved watching the game great time for me to be alive and see a Yankees game finally
Mateo how Bird the street super guy who stole those legs nakemu spriterov what. Great return to the game, great team. That's how it's played, eat and kick the Yenkees and come. Great match, big congratulations.
I’m a huge O’s fan and love seeing them improve, but Aaron Judge is an incredible hitter. I expected him to be a good power hitter, but the fact that he has a carrer BA of around .280 is amazing. Pop with a decent average is so rare nowadays that I always love watching him. Let’s go O’s!
No denying, Aaron Judge WILL get paid this off-season. He has all the intangables to be HoFamer But I love my Orioles and love seeing them fight this year. They can hang with the best of them and the talent is gonna come together. Elias has been a godsend for this club... Just as long as the damn Angelos family quit their infighting and let Elias do his thing
It’s not that rare. There are a few power hitters that have better stats that than Judge. Two example are Paul Goldschmidt, and Yordan Alvarez. Both of these guy have a better BA and OPS. Judge leads them in home runs, but not by much. Alvarez could easily be leading in home runs right now but due to being on the IL a few times this year, Judge has played significantly more games than he has. The reason this kind of stuff is not widely known is because Judge is constantly highlighted and pushed on us by the MLB. He’s good, but according to statistics, he’s not the best.
MLB wants the majority of fans to be Ignorant of statistics. That way when Judge makes MVP over players that truly deserve it, the decision won’t be questioned. It’s all about money. Mark my word.
