I feel like that hbp call was bullshit, as he squares up for the bunt, and almost steps on home plate. Calling a hbp is so dumb, the batter made absolutely no attempt to dodge it.

The HBP call was pretty questionable, but the Umps strike zone was everywhere for both teams tbh and Melendez did swing at a pitch in the dirt to end the game

@@Droogs rotate him into the outfield and DH spot we’ve seen what this guy can do in the majors and we are one more consistent bat away from being really dangerous if there’s even a chance he is a better bat than verdugo and Stanton you find a way to get him in the lineup

@@noahburns9565 I have no doubt he'll light things up when he returns to the majors. And when he does, that kind of bat belongs in the line-up every night. So if he starts getting regular playing time, someone has to go. I think Verdugo is too good a defensive outfielder to mess with him, so the logical assumption is Stanton has to go. Giancarlo has largely been a huge disappointment in New York. The guy is unreliable. Another massive disappointment has been Tony Rizzo. Can Jasson play first base?
