ngl I thought the same, like 'why are they putting Yanqing right next to Aventurine', then by the end I was; nvm that was some big brain moment, I forgot Tingyun is THE preservation unite of all time.

@@Sunhwk he put aven on the middle to max out aven stack potential and energy for dps, if yanqing or rm get blast atck, aven stack will easily fill out and energy for yanqing/rm too since aven shield is like a tank, but tingyun getting aggro everytime is funny xD

Getting hit primarily generates a lot of energy and secondarily, stacks for Aventurine. ​@@Sunhwk

Average Tingyun experience

I had the same team but with Ratio instead of Yanqing. Tingyun faaaar away from Aventurine on the other end. She still got hit the most during multiple runs and even died few times. Nothing is stopping the enemies from attacking Tingyun once she is in your team💀

@@sara_s1737 If she has def build she can be the perfect tank if you have adventurine she'll be the bait.

I have Aventurine with Gepard lightcone which increases aggro for him, yet 8 times out of 10 Tingyun gets targeted…

What’s worse is this is her aggro after they patched it, TWICE

75 aggro value on the dumb kid 150 for preservation with no modifiers 100 for both harmony 425 team base Aventurine has a 33% chance to get hit Yanqing 17% plus an extra 60% modifier pulling him at roughly 8% chance to get hit Both harm at 25% Which means 50% of attacks with the added aggro deflection from yanqing you are getting roughly a 60% chance for your harmony characters to get wrecked. People think preservation being the highest means high base % to get hit. It def is not like that and it’s why you see stuff like this.

@@mahxa Based on leaks: Robin's ult is really good when you have any type of follow-up attackers in your team, as she deals an extra hit of damage when allies attack when its active. Aventurine and Yanqing both have follow-ups. That + she provides good attack, dmg% and crit dmg buffs.

E1 seele lc yanqing (barely built😂) 71/178, e0s1 aven, e0s0 ruan, e6s5ddd tingyun, finished with 20cycles left Tried with e0s0 argenti, e2s1 jingyuan but still failed to *3 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ive always *36 all prev moc w/o difficulties, maybe this time it's rly skill issue hahahha

2.5k atk is too low. He doesn't need spd boots if you have Ruan Mei/Sparkle and TY.

He’s one of the weakest characters this is moreso TY and RM if u don’t have any 5* dps I’d say go for it but don’t max him out since u can easily replace him with JL rn lol

If you like him, then go for it. But there’s many dpses that outperform him, so I wouldn’t recommend.

use Gepard instead of Aventurine, don't build any crit rate and aim for 230% crit damage along with decent %atk stat, you'll end up pretty same damage showing in this video or even maybe better

Use Gepard; Yanqing needs a shield to keep his SS buff. And as a Yanqing main, the damage in the video is pretty normal for Yanqing ^^ You can make it even higher by changing some of the builds in the video. Yanqing's best planner set is "Firmamint Frontline: Glamoth," and the second best is probably "Space Sealing Station." You can also give Tingyun and Aventurine (if you got him) the "Broken Keel" set ("Fleet of the Ageless" also works), and you can give Ruan Mei and Gepard the "Penacony, Land of the Dreams" set. You also don't need to build Yanqing with a lot of crit rate; he gives himself 20% CR with his SS (+30% CD) and an additional 60% CR (+30% CD) for his burst and 1 turn after that; you only need 20%-40% CR. You can focus on ATK, CD, and SPD.

@-jno3164 BTW Yangqing only needs 20% crit rate his kit gives him 80% crit rating so u got 35% of wasted crit.

If he is your only ice

There will be a new endgame favouring hunt characters, and he will probably shine as he did in this MoC. If you have many resources to spare and a Gepard/Aventurine, it's always good to have a variety of characters to use in any scenario. However, if your resources are scarce and you already have Jingliu, don't bother or do it later.

If you like him, YES! build whoever you like and have fun. If you just want strong units, you might want to build him later when the new endgame comes, but for now, there are better DPS characters. He still performs very well, and I've been clearing most content using him. He needs a shield, so you will need either Gepard or Aventurine with him, but his build is extremely easy since he gives himself TONS of crit, and his dmg is pretty good against bosses.

Yanqing can get good damage so long as he never takes any. Aventurine is exactly what he's been needing

Yanqing relies on not getting hit for his increase crits. Aventurine boosts yanqing up.

Not everybody is a meta slave darling. There are good reasons to build him, one being that you like his character for instance.
