Not sure why my comments disappear but need info on a 2 cyl yanmar tractor. Fuel injector pump. Have one,? Any leads on one or rebuild kit? Any instructions on removal, installation? Thank you.
Hope tractor parts has new fuel injection pumps. They are a PAIN to install and expensive. They have to be shimmed right with a thin copper gasket behind them to time them correctly and the governor linkage has to be reset (I have a video on that). Are you sure that's your problem? You have to follow the procedures in the manual.
Thank you Matt! I get very little pressure at the fuel injectors. I tried at the pump and left side barely spits out any fuel. So I assume it's the injector pump. I can get it started but takes hwat in intake and smokes like crazy. I'll welcome any advice. Thank you.
@@shawnburhus6188 Are you getting good spray out of the injectors? The actual part that sprays in the engine? The fuel will barely squirt out the injection pump that's normal. When it's compressed it's 2275 PSI. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. High pressure diesel is dangerous.
Yes, I did the cardboard truck as you showed, but on injector barley swuirts. So I went back to pump and very little pressure out of pump on the same line going to injector. So, I assume it's injector. You do awesome work. I'll pay you and your wife/gf/signing other to come here and check it out. Free trip to Reno...
@@shawnburhus6188 I would buy a single new injector and test with it before buying the pump. Mine had bad injectors that were doing what you are saying.
