Yes, I can, but it's not really worth it. I don't come across too many roots with this machine. I have another machine with a ripper. The small bucket, 300 mm wide, on this machine, keeps me out of trouble. The teeth are really long on it, so it acts like a ripper and you can move dirt at the same time.
