I had the pleasure to see Yann live twice. One word: maestro.

Actually the Amelie soundtrack made me watch the movie. I wouldn't of watched the movie if it wasn't for Yann!

Yann Tiersen is a man that gives meaning to this world. he is a man who makes you rethink that humans are not really the worst creatures ever made.

Thank you for this wonderful film - How great; the studio, and process of creating genuine art. I once saw Yann practicing just before a show, just sitting and playing on the street in Pontiac, Michigan. What a difference in scenery - from here to there! Merci!

I remember when I was 13 years old there was a girl named sally in my school who played piano, she was beautiful I looked up to her, I remember I wanted to impress her. I searched on RU-vid piano and after a while I found yann tiersen. When I heard his music it was the first time I ever felt something, I felt connected to the art, all I could do was feel emotion, emotions that I never felt before, it was incredible. Its something I find difficult to describe. But I know others feel it too. It's truly beautiful. It's something I'm really grateful for. I'm now 23 and I still listen to him play and I still feel those emotions of connectedness. Thank you yann for sharing something so great so beautiful. You are a treasure to this world and I hope that everyone discovers you, like I did.

I feel so sad that the songs used in the movie Amelie feel so out of context to Yan, I play a few of those songs and every time someone says 'oh that's Amelie' I say "it's Yan Tiersen", because that IS the source... And I can only imagine how it might feel. Not all of us relate those songs to the movie, myself included. And Yan, your music was one of my main inspirations to learn to play piano and write my own songs, and music is the love of my life, so I thank you for your influence always.
