Yann Tiersen’s music is why I started playing piano at 13. I then went on to play classical and jazz studied piano in college. But he was why I started- I learned the entire soundtrack to Amelie when I was a kid and bought my first keyboard. This video was one that I found when I was 13. I was in awe and still am. Thanks Yann!

This man is a gift... from the universal blessing of sound and music to humanity... I am so happy I live in a day and age where I can just type his name on a keyboard to see him appear in a virtual alternate reality here... on my screen... to witness him like if I was there at the concert...

I just read most people find his live concerts really bad. Very short, NO interaction with the audience at all, playing with the back to the audience etc.

Es increíble que existan personas que puedan tocarte el alma de esa forma, que por su música te den sus ojos para ver el mundo, lo que hace Yann Tiersen es mostrar los sentimientos que no se pueden explicar...él es un sueño viviendo en este mundo real.
