My best donghua BL couple ever. The development of their love is kinda slow but still love it. The male lead is not the typical ML because you kinda hate him at first, he teases and tests Shen Qiao to the point that you will loathe him. On the novel, he ended up eating his words because he eventually fall for Shen Qiao. 🥰

I love Shen Qiao's personality so much, it's quite refreshing, he's unyielding not in a naïve way but in a very unbothered way. He does what he thinks is right, even when he knows the outcome might not be in his own favour

I clicked on this out of curiosity, then I immediately went to binge all the episodes I could find for this series

This is the best BL couple ever, I’m so sorry WangXian and BIngQui but YanShen just has something special about them

I love their dynamic, i love their chemistry.... i've never read anything with main characters being SO DIFFERENT, yet so suitable for each other. Their relationship is so unique, I LOVE IT. (and yes the video is such a masterpiece, please do more of them pleaseee dhjskhja)

I think what I love about this couple is the mature way it is presented. No they don’t like everything about each other, they don’t give forgiveness if they were hurt and they are not the same in beliefs or in the way they live their lives, but it doesn’t mean they can’t respect or love one another. They are also don’t have to give up they own wants and lives, theres more to them than just a romance. It make the relationship more deep and meaningful to me that they could live without each other, the pain and problems it causes but choose not to. Much more meaning opposed the more traditional romance of I love u so I will do anything for u and u can do no wrong kind of story. Super well done video!! I can never get tired of these two. Fingers crossed they will eventually release S2. After all it took at least 2 years to see S2 of TGCF so it could happen and TGCF is very overtly gay in comparison and still managed to be made despite the Chinese bans on BL stories.

Yansen is easily the best BL couple for me. They're just magical and epic and unique and special and perfect for each other in every possible way. Waiting for the live action takes off quickly and the lead cast should be chosen very carefully.

I’m curious about Yan Wushi’s childhood. I wonder if his childhood influenced his personality or if he was born with it (or both). We get to see a bit of Shen Qiao’s childhood, which explains his good natured gentleness: he was loved and doted on by his shizun and he was isolated from the word, which allowed him to grow up being so open and transparent. If he hadn’t been forced out of Xuandu, he’d still be naive to human nature and trusting of all. It’s because of this and Yan Wushi that he was able to witness and digest different facets of society and human nature, which in turn, influenced how unbreakable and steadfast in his values he is. I wonder how the author would contexualize Yan Wushi’s OG personality, before he met Shen Qiao. We see a shift in Yan Wushi’s indifference and arrogance, because of Shen Qiao single-handedly defying his world view on human nature and worth. But, Shen Qiao is the only exception: he still treats everyone else in the same way. *Sigh* I need more extras….

This donghua is really amazing! cinematography is beautiful.. fighting senses are superb! love main lead duo's characters. still hopefully wait for Season 2 .. and about the novel- it's really worth to try...this isn't a usual plot, this is extremely unusual bl story and complicated. Shen qiao and Yan wushi have completely different personalities. Shen qiao genuinely kind and honest - a hidden gem. Yan wushi is a real devil, but the great, noble and very smart. you know that kind of villain which looks so noble, mischievous, but still great. i can't hate him at all as his principal is actually justified. he's not stupid blindly bad. he was just realistic to how human nature is do bad and not trusting anyone. he is very clear about what he wanted and whom he loved, just keep it moving without breaking his stride. he's evil, every one knows it, he knows it, but he never try to pretend to be like a good person, he's being true to his character. feel him much more like a real person. I like how Yan wushi and Shen qiao stand on their own principles and do act like a mature adults. also stayed true to thier characters up to their very last moment. even though they have opposite personalities both of them are confidence, strong, mature and powerful. although they didn't trust each other at first and Yan wushi treat Shen qian in a bad way at first ( even he ended up saving Shen qiao and that allowed and helped Qiao to regain his martial arts), due to common goal they stick together and look after eachother. after he awareness about his feelings towards Shen qiao his attitude towards Qiao changed and he moved on and never regrets about what he did in past or he didn't ask or wait for forgiveness/ he never cry for forgiveness like most of other characters, just decided to do much better in future. actually I really haven't met a such kind of different character like Yan wushi before... Shen qiao and Yun wushin character development is solid. they have push and up dynamic in their relationship felt natural and real. romance develop very slowly but also in a realistic way instead of yandere at first sight way. I love the way Yan wushi loved Shen qiao and the way he express it. and the love and respect they had for eachother honestly earned by themselves. they were truly deserving of eachother. every relationship in this world is not pure as water and not clear as sky. but people found their own happiness in different types of relationships.. in the end why this story comes to is Shen qiao trying to make Yan wushi understand that there is selfless kindness in the world, while Yan wushi trying to make Qiao understand that everyone in this world not kind, and his kindness will amount to nothing when the party he's helping has other motives. both of their principles proven in this story using by side characters. both are right, both are wrong, in the end, it all comes up that world is not a black white, but rather gray! * in the end they get around it and come to understand eachother. in this story opposite attraction law was so strong. they have an happy ending, both of them found their happiness..

I'm really amazed in this story but dude, it's triggering me when the MC shows mercy, the three guys at the end of the last episode, I want them all dead so dang much.. I cried at the end thinking that yan would die but thank goodness, wish theres season 2 :')
