"He who controls the Spice" is a reference to the Dune series (I.E. the hit movie that came out last year). The boss worm is basically a Sandworm, including the part where it attacks people walking on the desert sand. Spice is, to extremely simplify the concept, a drug harvested from the planet Dune that when ingested by any means allows people to get visions and also is a key component in how mankind can pilot their starships because it allows Navigators to, well, Navigate. TL;DR in Jeikage terms; it's the weird crap from the beginning of the Sumeru area being burned as incense that took the Traveler into the dream world to meet Irmansul.
As i understood it the Spice kinda is Ambrosia as well as continued comsumption lead to longevity. And wasn`t it sandworm feces or atleast the end/waste product of sandworm metabolism (also known as poo) ?
@@asimovvomisa4040 I've read Dune several times over and I'm certain that people theorize on the origin of the spice being produced by the worms, but I don't know if they ever directly confirm it.
Yaoyao is a support made for Nilou so she needs to stay on the field when she ults, the idea is to use Nilou's hydro aura and switch to Yaoyao since she has dendro resistance and movement speed when she ults
@@schrodingerskatze6487 they should've made it optional. Like I get that some people can be annoyed by that sould but not everyone, just make the button to toggle it in and out

You can only slightly hear it in some of her idle animations now. I'm annoyed >: T Edit: Xinyan's drum no longer drums either! This stinks! I'm writing a whole essay to Mihoyo next survey.
yaoyao is so freaking cute! i'm happy i was able to get her while pulling for alhaitham 5:57 btw you *can* actually unlock that portion of the map! it's part of the aranara series of quests!
9:00 Believe it or not, Geo Traveler is an incredible Main and Sub DPS. The 6-Second CD on a +500% Scaling Elemental Skill, an easy to get 60-Cost Elemental Burst that recharges up to 25 Energy when it hits enemies, and the added benefit of Geo Resonance is nothing to scoff at. (As a Geo Traveler Main myself, I am 100% Biased.)
Well Geo Lumine Traveler is strong.She straight up kicks the construct meatball for her attacks. But literally Lumine has higher Charge attack dmg, and higher Crit Rate than Aether, Why I have no f-king clue. Originally players thought she was supposed to have higher Attack Stats and Aether would be Defensive since within lore their combat styles complimented each other but that sadly wasn't the case in game. Aether only has faster climbing while his sister has faster attack animations which equates to higher damage scaling like WTF HoYo?
@@vinny8589 aether can also run faster, while lumine atks faster. but there isnt currently much reason to use MC NA/CA anyways, so really, being faster at climbing and running is worth more. not sure where you got the crit rate thing from, thats not true edit: aether also has a slightly higher base HP, which id personally consider more useful than atk speed/CA dmg, but its so minor it barely matters in both cases
Ever since I played Fallout 3 when I was 15 y/o, anything that label Strange, Mysterious or Unusual meat, I'll remember that little quest when you open up the neighbor's secret Shed.
Yaoyao is a Fun 4* in general. And she is a complete support, planning to get C1 for for Damage Boosting Goodness. Fun video too, Jay. Especially how you glee around using her Burst and Skill, Happy Lantern Rite for you and hope you get Dehya in the Next Patch.

Same! The fact that the fox duo is insane together is a happy accident. But I wanted that Sumeru resource passive because I knew the desert and plenty of characters were yet to come.
Hey Kage if your Not aware of this, Lumine has Higher Charge Attack Dmg, and Crit Rate than Aether. Someone did a comparison a while back. Also After completing the Sumeru Quest line both Travelers gains a small stat buff to both. THINK of Lumine as "EASY" mode and Aether as "Dark Souls" Difficulty if that helps any. Lumine also has faster attack animations, Geo Lumine KICKS the Construct while Aether punches the ground. Aether has faster climbing tho.
The new boss is so easy and I got yaoyao, happily. I don't do 10 pulls unless I get enough from rewards, also, with her bunnies name, think of Uruguay.
Finally they released Yaoyao, she was mentioned when Ganyu was going to be released/Introduced. Of how Ganyu should eat less spicy foods since Ganyu stomach is weak due to overworking(recommended by Yaoyao). Fun fact, Yaoyao Japanese voice actor voices Ilya from fate series. While Ninguang Japanese voice actor voices the mother of Ilya, Irisviel.

i remember when me and my friend group realized we all had yaoyao, so we decided to have some fun and solo (almost) every boss in the game. two of us had lvl 40 yaoyao, the other two had lvl 60 needless to say, we realized how great she was when we killed the bosses and basically dominated the world lmao
I lost my 50/50 for Alhaitham to Tighnari. He was the only standard banner character I didn't have, and his passive farming for those sand grease pupa'sis useful for when I got Alhaitham a few pulls later. I also got more Xinyan's than YaoYao's
I still don't have Yaoyao... Did around 20 pulls and now i'm at around 60 pity. I'm too scared to continue since I have a guaranteed and really don't want Xiao or Alhaitham. I'll have to wait for the free 4* from lantern rite... Does anybody know when are you able to get the free 4*? Will it be here during the weekend or next week?
