I literally started listening at work… but stopped it as I could not get past the first 15 min. Then I come home, remembered there was a B and C pod I have to finish watching,clicked play, remembered why I stopped watching, read the comments and I’m glad everyone feels what I feel! no, babes. they are hate comments. it’s one thing to say that you weren’t a fan of the episode, but it’s actually hateful to make speech impediment jokes & claim that bri makes literally everyone insufferable. you don’t have to love someone to not be a disgusting person toward them
I hope BnC and their producers/creative teams see these comments and understand how crucial it is to prioritize Brooke and Conners dynamic. That is literally the whole bit. No one would watch if their chemistry was disturbed bc we watch for that exact chemistry. Not saying all guests are bad. Some guests slay so hard and fit well into their dynamic. It's just we r here for 2 things and their names start w freaking B and C man.
And what happened to long form content? You guys are missing out on 100,000+ views by not doing more active videos like the pizza making one. Who is running your logistics team, they need to be stricter like crack the wipe man make BnC play football or paint self portraits. There has literally been 5/6 recent videos where they both are running out of talking points and joke about how bad the podcast is. It's honestly getting kinda really old! I love these 2 and want them to grow, not fizzle out.
@@laney8039i totally agree!! the pizza video was so fun and so entertaining! would love to see them do more vids outside the pod. but we love the pod wholeheartedly anyway! just sucks when we can visibly see that BnC are not totally BnC when the guests don't have the kind of energy or dynamic that complements them. this ep felt draining. hope they can take these comments as helpful feedback, would love to see them give b&c the treatment they oh so deserve.

Why should I be spreading love and light when they don't? They are known for getting into controversies with other women for literally being mean. And guess what?? Mean girls get what they dish out. I dont want them to axe guests completely, personally. Yeah I didn’t love this episode (no fault to b&c) but there’s so many people I think would be great guests for the pod. I personally can’t wait to see Sally Darr on here!!!

could be wrong here but I think the majority of the negative comments in this space are not dragging Bri and Grace because of who they are as individuals but solely bc of their attitudes in this specific episode. Interrupting and cutting the hosts off? I'm sorry, but we literally watch this because of Brooke and Connor. Guests should add value to the episode not take away from the people we are here to support! I hope they did actually have a good time and this is just what it looks like as a viewer. Though, the Close Friends episode was hilarious and I felt like they both could exhale. This would be a tough listen for any audio-only listener. If constructive criticism or gentle reminders that we love them come off as hater vibes, then I'm a hater!!!! I've listened to Bri and Grace numerous times and while they are not my favs, I've liked them in many situations, and found their content funny. Barstool on the other hand….. Idk about supporting that, but also I'm not going to judge them bc they can be friends with and have whoever they want on their podcast!!!! I just hope Bri and Grace are self aware enough to know that this wasn't really a good vibe and learn from it. Connor and Brooke are a natural at podcasting truly, their conversations are always funny, intriguing, and though silly can be thought-provoking in many ways too! A lot of listeners are just used to that dynamic and we are spoiled with them! So sometimes when people throw off the vibe, it’s just a little disappointing!! I don’t think this is the case, I think Connor doesn’t know how to add his points in a conversation with a lot of people. When he was trying to talk they were already talking about something and he was trying to interrupt them to add his point instead of waiting for a pause. That’s why he kept repeating himself. This used to happen to me, but its a mix of not wanting to loose your train of thought and not listening to what others are saying. POV is everything.

they’re both from boston but i feel like since they’re childhood bffs they’ll both speak silly or weird cause they’re so close and comfy. Personally I can talk weirder around my bf or best friend just being silly but theirs is being filmed so i think that’s where it feels like they’re speaking weird when rlly they’re talking like they would off air to their friend

I have no idea who these two are but this was a very difficult watch. What are those stupid baby voices/different accents?! I tried but only made it 31 minutes. Sorry, B&C, I tried to give you the view!
I hate being negative but honestly this was the hardest episode to watch because besides the interrupting, Bri and Grace just aren't funny. I couldn't do it with the accents and the voices. They sorta made the episode a lil stressful...

Not my fave episode. Absolutely nothing to do with the young man and tiny gorgeous petite young woman. I usually like guest episodes but not these two.
the horribly misinformed comments about native americans are really disappointing. weird and upsetting that nobody working on the pod gave a second thought to perpetuating harmful myths and stereotypes before releasing this episode
The response in this comment section is sooooo wild like absolutely have your opinions but I’m sure b&c don’t want y’all being rude as hell over a video none of you even know the people in it personally so just remember that y’all lol always proud of Brooke and Connor! and I think they are getting better about not dominating the conversations when they have guests especially with people like grace and bri who are also friends who can really hold the conversation on their own I thought it was a really great dynamic.

@@ianperez5350 i’m not sure about the girls specifically, but their shows under Barstools network and the man who runs that company (Dave Portnoy) does not have a good reputation (neither does barstool tbh). things like sexual assault allegations and being okay with racist comedy, he’s the kind of man who thinks he’s ‘above’ being cancelled yk
