That's why I couldn't find it. You mentioned the Knight Helmet as Scalloped ! And now I have to bring the Shave Judge.

I just had my first clean shave 🪒 in about 4 years. I used my faithful r89 with a yellow 7oclock. I was forced into it as I pick my beard hair out to a point where I had no option. My face is on fire & I’m red all over. I’m quite proud of myself though, it’s my first ever clean shave with a de razor on my face. One nick on my lip & one on my chin area although I believe I took the top of a spot or something. Nice to see you again Kevy 🙋🏻

Hey Kevy I just got that new Yaqi head with the scallop look just had my first shave with it the products that were used with the shave was the PAA cube pre shave with the Wickhams soap and together the lather was damn slick and the shave was the best I have ever had. True the razor head is efficient more so that my Muhle R41 and the Ikon Tech but my Shave was very smooth luckily no cuts or weepers and I had 3 passes plus several clean ups and no problems I will go back to that head and shaving products again good video. Thanks for testing out those razor heads. I hope Yaqi offers that aggressive scalloped head and re-issues their scalloped slant heads (SRH-030 and SRH-031), so the minority of shavers liking such an aggressive shave has an affordable, easily available option. (Or give comments like these the option of purchasing one of those prototypes!)

Hi Kevy, enjoying your videos. Interesting that the Thailand soap has coconut oil in it. I use organic coconut oil (melrose brand) as a pre-shave and as an after shave balm & moisturiser. It’s very soothing, smells nice and feels great. Cheers from South Australia. ~ Mark

Ive got several of the Yaqi heads. Tile is the best so far. Liveben was a bargain. It was actually Yintal. Got a couple of the defect brushes for $7. They were great for the price. Shipping is so slow to the States though. 3 weeks plus or minus. It took 3 months to get a refund on one that never shipped.

I've watched a lot of your videos.Surely the best razor has to be the tatara masamune.I won't be getting one of those though as it's a bit too pricey.

Good evening Kevy! Thank you for introducing these products...you are such an enabler..lol. A wee word about those Kai DE blades: those things are sharp and the rumor is that they are actually wider than the standard DE blade. Kai blades fool people in regards of sharpness due to their smoothness, so I think the aggressiveness of that shave is due in part to that blade. Clove scented soap would be to my liking...smells a bit like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love Bay Rum too. The Yaqi razor I have (thanks to you) is a fine shaver and it is in my go-bag for travel. I would recommend the brand based on my fantastic shave experience. Great shave results Kevy. Thanks again for sharing. Take care.

Saw on the web site they have the Citrus Ginger! OMG! The Wantz is great in that one. As for the Yaqi heads, I might go for the 2nd head and if the fix the issues with the single edge one but not touching that broadsword to the face first head. Nope. Not doing it! And that handle is a "Bulldog" design. Love the knurling on that. FYI, it seems that the cam is focusing on the text on that sign on the background Kevy, even when you use your palm to take the background out, I think because that sign is still in its detection zone, it locked onto it.

thank you for a great lesson from a new wet shaver. I think I'll try to improve my technique with the Merkur 34C. Before I stick my head in the lions mouth of a more aggressive razor.

Have you tried Muhle Sea Buckthorn Shave soap awesome stuff not bad.. And what is the best quality wooden shave bowl?? I have few they tend to be ok except Dr. Harris for some reason it bother me a lot

Congratulations finishing the first pass incident free. That thing looked fierce! Interesting seeing more and more open-comb plates being described as gentle, when the general consensus was that open equals aggressive.

Yikes! That first razor looks way to scary for me. Your technique (and an abundance of caution) got you through the first pass quite well. On another subject, those of us in California would be more than happy to have some of the rain your getting. 😊 Cheers

Very nice looking soap,just went on the website for information but seems all prices are in Thai so hopefully the owner may convert the prices into dollars that would be nice. Great shave man any tabs exposed on the ends of those razors.

Aggressive head and blade.....looked like one pass is all you needed.... . I have a similar open/closed china made head that I just dont like (gave it away).

Those heads are amazing! Tony Tony managed to get the only prototype of the scalloped head from the Yaqi store in Melbourne. He should get it Monday. The blade exposure is intimidating. Yet a steady hand was able to glide it properly. Well done! The other head is very similar to my iKon SBS. But the SBS is very aggressive...but in the opposite way. Meaning that the open comb is used for the WTG, and XTG. But the safety bar should be carefully used for the ATG because of it's extreme efficiency. Today's demonstration satisfied my curiosity on these new acquisitions. Tony was told it might be 2 months till the scalloped head is released. I hope it's not, but then again, I have to budget for the Stirling stainless head and Austin handle.

Great shave. Thanks for the info re the Aliexpress sale. That Yaqi handle looks very similar to the Ikon OSS habdle but I suspect at a fraction of the cost.

You need a good pre-shave for that first pass. It's a booger.

I've just used the Yaqi Knights Helmet (your first head), for a 3 pass shave - never used it before. Holysh!tballs Kevy, it's a beast pal! I had no idea, just rushed through a quick shave before bed #haha. No weepers but I could feel it when I wholloped on the aftershave 😲 More aggressive than my R41, V3A, Braveheart & Futur setting 6... I love it! 😂 😂
