Yusuf's (PBUH) story is the one of the most exciting stories in the Quran! Whenever I read Surat Yusuf, I start to get excited with the best recitation my voice can reach. Beautiful! Filled with tens of lessons in life !

This story makes me very humble and cry every time..goosebumps...how did they manage to be strong and patient for decades!!! The patience of Yaqoob peace be upon him, becoming blind from sorrow and crying..Ya Allah, Ya Rab Forgive us...we cant stand one month of the same struggle. May Allah Almighty Forgive us.😢

I am listening this and doing some chores at home, although I read the Qur'an many times but I never get tired to listen the story oh the prophets, thanks brother may Allah rewards you here and the here after, amen.

Some scholars said that Prophet Yusuf AS was in his 30's when he was reunited back with his family. So, it's a long time and it's kinda normal that the brothers didn't recognize him at first. One thing that plays a big part in his characters was his father's upbringings. It is known in Islam that the role of father in family is a "qawwaam", which one of the translations is "the protective borders". Take a father away from any children's development, and you will get an adult with little to no ability to restrain their desires because the lack of role model. And we know that failing to restrict our desires will lead to actions that will harm ourselves in the end (dhulm/dholim). We ask Allah to protect us from such things. Surah Yusuf has tons of gems that impossible to explain just in a lecture. The constant theme brought up throughout the surah are "shabr" and "shukr". "Patience" and "gratitude". Be patient whenever difficult situations hits us, and be grateful for every good situations Allah has given to us. And this is literally the key that Allah has taught to navigate ourself through any situations in this life. And Allah SWT knows best, and He is the Best Planner. Listening till the end, even prophet jacob want to be near his father when he dies. Really, tears coming down when I remember my late father. My father is a good muslim inshaAllah, he died because of corona, and before he died, he khatm 30 juz of qur'an. May Allah forgive my father sins and make my father among the righteous, aameen.

Again, search for The Story of Jibreel AS by Omar Suleiman. His birth, attributes, character, etc. Because he will be mentioned a lot in upcoming Prophets stories. God bless.

Instead, it appears in various historical and literary traditions, including Jewish and Islamic folklore, as well as some non-canonical sources like the Talmud and Midrash. However, it is important to note that these accounts are not considered authoritative in Islamic teachings. The primary and most reliable source for the life of Prophet Yusuf is the Quran itself. The Quranic account focuses on the spiritual and moral aspects of the story and does not mention any marriage between Prophet Yusuf and Zulaikha.

In the Quran Allah Almighty referring to this story as “the best of narratives”
