That Japanese painting you passed on is insanely rare. About only 500 of those kind ever made and range from 2-5 thousand dollars. That one specifically I think is on the higher end of that scale aswell. I hope someone else realized what it was and scooped it up for the price given of $40.

$15 for that pile of misc. junk? What was even in there? A used box cutter, a rusty screwdriver, a broom head without a handle and a 13 piece drill bit set? Were the bits even new? I wouldn't pay more than $5 for that even if the drill bits were new.

Good thing your dad was with you to help pay. Without him you would have had to go to the bank or ATM. You were lucky to get the helmets for that price. The one guy who seemed to know you gave you some decent prices. Overall some great pickups.
