MATERIALS:
•Sturdy paper
•Yarn
•Paint in small dishes
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut yarn into various lengths or bundles.
2. Holding a bundle of yarn in your hand, dip it into the paint, then press it onto the paper.
3. Repeat as many times as you like, trying new colors or yarn thicknesses, or sizes of bundles of yarn.
VARIATIONS:
•Drag or swirl a piece of paint-covered yarn across the paper.
•Tie or tape some yarn to the end of a stick to make your own yarn paintbrush.
•Wrap yarn around a piece of cardboard then use it to make prints.
